“Champion?”, Lillie paused for a second until it clicked. She was speechless for a moment since she just realized what type of person this boy, Calem is. The title champion is relatively new to her. There were no Champion trainer back home up until recently. She knew that someone who was a champion was a good strong trainer and probably went through a lot to get to where they are now.
“Oh! A-a Champion!”, as expected, she was extremely embarrassed. Her face turned bright red, where was the respect!? She politely bowed and apologized. “Sorry about that!”, not only was she embarrassed for not reacting as fast to champion but for being so casual and not knowing who he was.
She did her best to shake it off. “That’s amazing, tho!”, she might seem like she was forcing it, but she really did mean it. It was just a bit awkward trying to recover from that.
“I’m Lillie, from Alolah.”, again, trying her hardest to be casual.
From the corner of his eye, he saw the way she shook her head and sigh upon seeing the unorganized mess in the cabinet. It both made him smile and his heart twinge with an indescribable ache. Kukui often didn’t care much on how the goods were place, so long as he could still make them out. It was Lillie who started to organize things to look better and he let her continue this routine, up until she left. He just didn’t bother once more, letting himself be consumed in his work and just shoving everything in there. Seeing her like this again was just…
Sigh.

The two got the pancake ready in minutes. Both shared a moment as the pancakes were cooking on the stove. “My adventures? Hmmm...” she paused. She wondered on where to even start. “Kanto is very different, compared to Alola, that’s for sure.”, she smiled. It was different, indeed. But in a good way.
“But, it’s been fun!”, she assured. “I met up with the region’s professor when I got there. And I got to choose the grass type starter, Bulbasaur!” She stacked the pancakes one by one after each one was fully cooked. “Hmm! They smell so good!” She moved both plates over to the tablet, so the two could eat as they talked. As well, she served some fresh coffee for the professor and some nice juice for herself.
Food was ready to eat!
Continuing the conversation, she shared some other experienced she’s had in Kanto, like seeing new Pokemon, even ones already in Alola but looked different. “...and there’s gyms in Kanto instead of trials. So, if you beat the gym leader, you get a badge as proof of your victory!” She was excited sharing all of the things she’s learned as she stuffed her tiny little mouth with pancakes.
She paused after minutes of rambling about Kanto. “But you know...I kinda miss Alola. No matter how fun it’s been traveling by myself.”, her expression shifted to somewhat of a sad smile. She still felt like she had a long way to go. Lots of growing up to do.
“It’s...good to be back. Even if it’s only for a shirt time.”
“Has it been good lately?”, she asked. She wanted to hear how he was doing. She had done enough rambling.
The Delinquent and Violet both laughed at Lillie’s innocent question, with the key trader resting her chin on her hand, a lingering smirk still on her face. Her eyes studied the blonde more intently before answering.
“Vi gets into a lot of trouble around these parts, but she always manages to get out of it,” the vagabond murmured reverently. “And while the rest of this city has really forgotten about us, she keeps the peace–if you can call it that.”
“So basically, Lillie…she’s a boss bitch. That’s how you gain fame and respect down here.”

“…Only I get to hassle you.”
That sent chills down Lillie’s spine. Mixed feelings, she wasn’t sure if that was meant to be an amusing joke or if she should feel scared. She was, however, highly uncomfortable being here and could not wait to leave.
Lillie couldn’t help but to think, just what kind of reputation has Violet built. Do these people really respect her? Or fear her? She was right in what she said— had Lillie been by herself in a place like this, who knows what would have happened. But these people don’t even seem to dare approach Violet.
The blonde quickly bowed farewell to the delinquent right before being pulled by Violet outside and into the back-alley, where Violet spoke of negotiations.
“I would instantly refuse if it was something weird...”
“Also, stop saying things that are lies. You know I didn’t steal anything.”, she said making firm eye contact with Violet. She was unsure whether Violet was serious or not of it was another of her teasing moments. What could Lillie possibly do in return for her freedom. Surely, Violet must be tired of being stuck with her and wouldn’t want to be any longer.
She wanted to ask for her price, but instead...why not just make an offer? “Um...When— when was the last time you slept on a bed? Had a proper shower? Eaten a nice breakfast?”, hopefully a nice bed and some room service would make up for everything both have been through...a night a hotel can achieve that, right? Being in Lumiose City, there must be at least one hotel Violet would like to visit. “One night stay at a hotel of your choosing.”
“D-don’t get the wrong idea!”, she felt the need to clarify, embarrassed that she even had to.
Morty went through his day like usual, though if one were to look closely, they could see that he was not giving one hundred percent of his focus. He paid enough attention to understand but beyond that, he wouldn’t have been able to do anything, not with how half of his attention was split. The image of the girl was fresh in his mind. She looked like a porcelain doll, honestly. Petite figure. White skin. Bright green eyes. He wondered who she was and why she kept appearing in his dream.

Finally. After many attempts, Lillie was able to keep the young man in her presence for longer now. Even if it was just for a few moments, this time the two were able to exchange words. A simple hello there split through the man’s lips. “Hi.”, short, but with a sweet gentle smile. The follow up words that came from him...out of context, one would think he’s flirting with the girl; but it wasn’t case— the feeling was mutual. For the longest time, the girl felt alone in this space, yet oddly safe whenever this man’s presence came to be around, even if it were from brief moments.
Answering the man’s late question, the girl offered her name. “Ancolie...Lilina Ancolie.”, full name? It was stranger for Lillie to give out her full name, but somehow, it felt natural and held on questionable thoughts.
The wind caressed the two bodies, it filled the girl with joy and warmth. “It feels nice today, doesn't it?”, she said as she turns to the horizon and then back at the man. “I’ve felt you...lingering around for some time now...I know it must be weird to talk to someone who’s just part or my imagination.”, she chuckled. Lillie lacks the sense that this is not reality...get feels as though these encounters are...would you call this lucid dreaming?
“Oh! Hey—..um...uh..”, up until now, she felt like she knew his name and felt no need to ask. Yet, her words cutout of the thought and no name comes out.
Riley saw the flare in her aura before her expression displayed her joy. His eyes widened slightly at the sight. The first thought that came to his mind was cute. Goodness gracious, Lillie was going to notice something was amiss if his cheeks kept warming up like this. His gaze flickered to the side, taking a few seconds to calm his slightly accelerated heart beat. Right, just collect himself. It was unbecoming of a gentleman to keep having these thoughts towards a young lady, even if she was adora–
Okay, slam the brakes. Focus.
“Why, thank you. Such a gentleman.”, said as she entered the store while Riley held the door for her. Her tone was as of a tease and in a cute playful matter. The place was full, but not too crowded either. The smell of the pastries was sweet and aromatic and Lillie could not wait to taste the real thing.
~!!~
Riley’s slight touch as guidance on her back caused Lillie to feel some chills down her spine for a moment there. He seemed to have noticed and brushed it off. She didn’t think too much of it, it was no big deal. It was just a strange sudden feeling.
Back to the sweets, she was highly excited to try out everything her companion had just suggested— and more! She agreed to where Riley pointed without a second thought and turned back to the glass window where all of the delicious looking treats were being displayed. “Excuse me!”, she called out of the employee behind the counter. “I’d like one of these, 2 of these please. Oh! And one of these too, please!” Big mistake on Riley telling her to pick anything she’d like. She’s going a bit overboard, pointing at everything that simply looks cute.
Her eyes sparkled as the employee took note of Lillie’s orders, she could not wait. “Which are you picking?”, Lillie turned to Riley. Excited to see if he would pick his usual picks or would got for something new.
“We’ll take your order over to your table as soon as we serve them.”, the employee stated as well turned to Riley. “And you, sir?”
Lillie gazed at the table Riley had suggested moments ago to see if it was still available and no one had taken it while they were ordering. She noted the table was somewhat more isolated compared to the others, there were a few more like that and were occupied...by couples.
If you have noticed that I have not followed you since your arrival (from September onward), do not worry, I have not followed or unfollow anyone since then. So, I’ll be unfollowing everyone and will be following everyone fresh from the masterlist. Just a quick psa, in case you just noticed that I just started following you.
Lazy days of being out and about doing nothing in particular were the best, Calem mused, leaning against a railing on one of Lumiose’s many canal crossings and feeling the gentle touch of the wind blowing in from the south, bringing with it warmth and the faint smell of the riot of flowers along route 4.
In his pocket, his phone chimed. Calem frowned, fished it out, and checked the status screen. Just a reminder that he had a Battle Chateau event later that night. It was still hours out, though. Still, the moment of peace lost, he returned the phone to his pocket, stood up and stretched. As he did so, he heard a familiar snapping noise – a camera shutter. His head snapped around, trying to catch the photographer.

Shoot! He’s coming this way!, Lillie attempted to turn around and pretend their eyes did not meet. Unfortunately, he was already close enough and addressing that he did not like having his picture taken without his permission and would like the picture be deleted. It was a perfectly reasonable request— what he was asking. The one in the wrong was Lillie, after all.
“S-sorry!”
She looked down on her feet, feeling extremely embarrassed. Without any objection, she browsed through her camera phone’s pictures and selected the desired picture to be deleted as the Kalosian boy offered to take a selfie instead. Lillie raised her head, confused by the way this boy was talking. “Um...excuse me?” Was he some kind of public figure? A model, maybe? He certainly had the looks.
Should she go along with it? She shyly nodded and agreed for a selfie anyway. She moved next to him getting a it closer and raising her arm to take the photo. Not surprised, she was too short to be able to take the picture and was embarrassed enough to even ask if *he* could take the picture for her. She got on her tippi toes in attempt to get a better angle for the selfie.
SNAP!
The pictured turned out slightly blurry, but it wasn’t terrible. Lillie admits she’s happy that she got a picture with a cute boy in the first place. What a strange way to get a picture with a stranger.
She turned to the Kalosian boy. Feeling a bit awkward and embarrassed still—over what happened. “Thank you...um...”, she hoped for the boy to give her his name maybe? If he turns out to be someone well known, she’d just want to bury her face over the shame...
Kukui remained frozen at the entrance, his eyes wide and mouth hanging open. He could only stand there and blink, still coming to terms with the sight before him. If he didn’t saw how his Pokemon interacted with her, the professor might have pegged it down as some sort of hallucination. But, with Ahi standing behind him and the heat he could feel radiating from the fire cat, Kukui had to accept that Lillie, the girl he looked after for a few short months before she went to discover herself, was really here.

"Hey Ahi! Hope you’ve been taking care of professor for me!”, she told the creature as it hopped off from her arms.
Ya’ve grown.
Followed by the professor’s pat, she mimicked him, placing her own hand on her head. “Hm? Have I?”, she asked. She may have taken the compliment a bit too literal. She dashed after, passing the professor. “I’ll take care of these!”, she said as she opened a bag of groceries, ready to put them away. “Oh, I’m only here for a few days. I was curious to see how much was a ticket back home and lucky me! There was a sale and I wasn’t gonna pass on it!” She opened one of the wall cabinets, where she knows where the cereals and boxed snacks go. She sighed at the sight of how unorganized the goods inside the cabinet were. Things that didn’t belong here too.
She turned to the professor, giving him and warm smile. “I see you’re the one that hasn’t grown, professor.”, she said turning back towards the cabinet organizing everything as things should be.
“How ‘bout I make some Mago Berry pancakes after I’m done here?”, she said suggesting that it’s okay for Kukui to go back to work while she finishes putting away the groceries and starts making brunch. “I’ll tell you all about my adventures while we eat!”
What better way to celebrate her return than with some home made pancakes?
Sup! Mareep-mod is back! I’m sure a lot of you know that Puerto Rico was hit by hurricane Maria this past September 20th, 2017. Naturally, no internet connection, even to this day at home. I won’t go into details of the struggles me and my family went through, but you’re free to personally message me and we can catch up!
A quick recap —Hurricane hit, I was forced to move in with mom and stepfather, mental health was going downhill (not just the hurricane, lots of other things around the situation— I’M FINE NOW THO!). Boyfriend is in the military, stationed in Tennessee, flew me out, got married (October 20th, 2017) and now I’m here! Marriage and moving were in our plans...for next year. But given the situation back home, we decided to do it in a short notice. It was for the best.
We have power back home now, but we were with no power for 52 days and no water for the first 2 weeks after the hurricane. No internet still, and phone service is still very wonky.
But! I’m here now, I’m safe, family is safe. I did try my best to keep in touch with the mods and a few others.
I’m now back to modding, gonna catch up to all of my roleplay threads. If you’re roleplaying with Lillie and wish to drop our thread because it’s been so long don’t hesitate to let me know, I completely understand. We can always start over or plan something else!
Find me of discord if you’re interested in roleplaying with Lillie! I’m sure we can work something out!
At this point Lillie didn’t even want to respond when she was called Barbie for the hundredth time. She was forced to sit on the ground, she adjusted her legs and skirt, trying her best to get comfortable and not scratch her knees— too late for that.
Lillie listened to Violet’s story with an open mind, in a way, she could relate to what she was saying. She attempted to respond to Violet’s words, on how she was wrong to assume those things about Lillie. She was hushed before she could even say ‘You’re wrong…’.
Violet let out a sigh of relief when Lillie reluctantly took her hand, confident that her tough love had worked its magic on the touristy blonde. They were walking in–blessed–silence along the boulevards until the Nighthawk’s newest companion decided that she had something to say. You’re wrong…
Lillie’s wavering tone and petty (in Violet’s opinion) problems did little to sway the Gang Member’s mind about her, though she seemed to at least acknowledge her initial misgivings concerning the Alolan native. Perhaps her past wasn’t so rosy after all, but still…
I’m sure things would have been different for you if…
Lillie’s soft cheeks turned bright red in response to Violet’s teasing. She thought nothing of it, in a sense, she’s probably used to it, just not down to this degree of teasing.
She followed into the bar, it had bad news written all over the place. A droplet of sweat ran down the side of her cheek as Violet did all the talking. She felt eyes peering right through her, afraid to even look anywhere, her best bet was to just not make eye contact and just stare at an empty bottle of beer that someone left over the counter.
She goes by Barbie., that hit a nerve, but now wasn’t the time to police it. The last thing she wants is for these delinquents to know her name. Lillie was fidgeting with her legs, eyes stopped focusing on the bottle after a while and tried her best to not make eye contact until suddenly, the delinquent started to make small talk with her. Oh no... she was as stiff as a board as the delinquent asked her questions.
“Most...badass thing?”
Lillie’s gaze shifted to Violet. “Um uh...I...broke out of jail toda—once...” (that was a few hours ago, Lillie) She also stole 10 dollars from her brother’s wallet once, but that’s probably not that impressive for them....and helped save the world once...no biggie.
Being talked to about Violet did intrigued her though, she was curious to know more. “Famous? How come?”, she asked, not even realizing how bold she was just now.
Oh boy, Violet thought as she leaned back against the wall with an exasperated groan. Here come the waterworks.
To her credit, Lillie was finally showing some semblance of a spine–the determined look on her tear-stained face was kind of cute–so the Gang Member let her justified tirade continue without interruption, save for the longest eye roll in recorded history. Arceus, she could be standing here for hours at this rate.
“Done letting it all out now, Barbie?” Violet asked softly, waiting until Lillie had burnt out her angry flame. “Look, I know that you’re a delicate Kalosian rich girl out of her element or something, so let me give you some education. Sit. Sharing time.”

For some reason, Lillie felt the urge to apologize...but why? She felt sympathy, but at the same time she felt the need to say something back. She was right about being miserable won’t change anything. Looking for a way to get un-cuffed was the next step in this situation. Before speaking, Violet stood up, offering her hand to Lillie. She took the thug’s hand, ignoring her cute face statement and agreed to follow.
The two walked through the alleys of the city for sometime, remaining in awkward silence. That silence was fully broken by “You’re wrong...”. Lillie paused.
“You were wrong about a lot of things. I’m not from Kalos, I’m from Alola. My home was always a *good* home. What I thought was a good home, wasn’t. My mom was obsessed with her work to the point that it hurt me and the rest of our family... My brother rebelled and left me behind in a toxic environment, my dad was never home because it was easier for him to turn a blind eye. I never had the chance to make friends for the majority of my childhood, I never had the freedom to even dress how I wanted.”, she realizes that compared to Violet’s story, this is nothing. But everyone’s story is different and there are many forms of ‘bad pasts’. “I was practically a doll trying to look pretty to make everyone think we were the perfect family when no one had the slightest I idea of what was going on!”, her voice started to raise. “What good is it having both your parents when neither of them won’t even look at you?”, she fought back her tears. This was probably the first time she has spoken of her past to anyone. Her friends back home knew about this because they saw it through their own eyes. There was no need to put it into words.
“I left home trying to find a way to make things right...and I actually did it. It wasn’t easy. But I did it, I met wonder people that stood by my side! —I’m sure things would have been different for you if...”, she paused. She knows that he has no right to say such things when she doesn’t know anything. “...sorry. Ignore that last part.”
the heart finds its way back home || Kukui & Lillie
starter for @lisry
Today was one of the days that he decided to get some actual work done, not on his research but his lab / home. Kukui had woken up that morning, showered and brushed his teeth before he started to check on his cupboards. He was in desperate need for grocery shopping unless he wanted to subsist purely on cream crackers and water for the rest of the week. With that plan in mind, he went through the motions of his morning routine with a smile on his lips.
When it was time to go, Kukui grabbed the keys as he walked to the front door, thoughts filled with what sort of items he had to buy besides groceries. PokeChow for his Pokemon of course, plus a new bottle of that nice detergent that didn’t make his nose itch and irritate his skin. With how much stuff that he planned on buying, it was probably a good idea to buy some lunch instead of making it. Ah, speaking of lunch, he wondered what would Lillie like–
Excitement, excitement! That’s all Lillie was feeling as the giant ships reached the docks of her beloved home. First stop? the lab! She thought of visiting her family first, but at the same time, she wanted to leave them for last as well...she wanted to really surprise the professor. She knew that going home first would probably mean that word would travel fast and everyone, including Burnet and Kukui would find out of her arrival which would just ruin the surprise.
The wind gently caressed her locks of hair, her hand taking a hold of her sun hat. This familiar smell, the sound of the waves, how she missed this. With her belonging on hand, she dashed quickly through the sea of people, heading straight to the lab.
Can’t wait to see the look on his face!, she thought as she reached her destination.
Upon arrival, she noticed the lab was awfully quiet, was he not home? Her initial instinct was to knock, but then she remembered that she still had a copy of the key. She slowly opened the door, placing her belongings next to the door. “Professor?”, she said loudly. No response coming from him, but some of the Pokémon instantly recognized her, specially Rockpuff whom dashed towards her and danced between her legs with joy. After some laughs, she picked up the puppy Pokémon in her arms. “Guess I should wait here then.”
She moved her belongings to the area of what used to be her sleeping area, it looks intact, just as she left it. The rest of the lab however looks rather messy. It was to be expected really, Lillie was the one in charge of keeping things clean and organized while professor was busy with work.
Rockpuff barked at the sound of the door opening and rushed towards the entrance. He’s here!, Lillie thought. She, as well rushed to the ground level to greet him. After he was inside, Lillie widely smiled and gave her nostalgic greet to him like she always did when he would get home. “Welcome back, professor!”
Violet fought the urge to snatch the key ring away from her hesitant partner as Lillie fumbled with the locks, freaking out after every unsuccessful attempt. A more understanding individual might have given the poor blonde a pass–she was breaking out of a jail cell for the first time ever–but Violet had almost negative patience when it came to fragile nerves. She was just about to entertain the idea of using Lillie as a battering ram when the key and lock mercifully connected with each other.
To her credit, Lillie wasted no time in hightailing it out of the station once free, their connecting cuffs linking the two women together. While Lillie was driven by pure terror, Violet exercised a clear, calculating mindset during their breakthrough moment–conspicuous in the shiny wrist bindings, she knew that they had to make themselves disappear fast. Lillie, who had slowed down because of panic, was not helping the cause in the slightest.
“What do we do!?”

Lillie looked down, trying her best to hold her tears as she was being lectured. She had had enough of this, she was frustrated, tired. She gathered the strength and courage to speak, completely ignoring Violet’s question. “It’s Lillie!”, she snapped.
“Lillie!”, she repeated. “My name is Lillie!”, she took deep breaths, she was shaking, her face was as read as a child trying to be tough towards a grown-up. “T-this is all your fault! I didn’t ask for this! You might be used to this but I’m not! I was dragged into this whole mess because *you* wanted the easy way out of things instead of doing the right thing from the very start, you....you...you’re just a thug! And selfish, and mean and only cares about yourself!”, Lillie was just blurting out words without thinking, she was taunting this stranger at this point.
“B-because of your selfishness you dragged *me* into this mess when I just happen to be at the wrong place at the wrong time!”, she tried to catch her breath, tears began pouring down her cheeks, not just because she was scared, but because this was probably one of the very few times she was able to stand up for herself. Lillie didn’t think this through, of what this person’s reaction might be to all of this.
Lillie wiped her tears away with the back of her free hand. There was long pause after her speech, then she came into realization that she probably had made a huge mistake talking back in such a tone to this person.
Located in Kalos, Lillie could not pass the opportunity of sight seeing the biggest most touristic city of the region, Lumiose. She walked the streets of the busy city, making her way through waves of people going back and forth. Back in Alola, she can’t think of a single place she’s visited that was as busy as this.
Snap snap!, she took pictures of eye catching scenery, buildings and even some street performers. The big city is now and entertaining, she almost felt out of place here. This place seems like the type of place my mom would like. Lots of clothing stores., she thought while passing by the glass windows of what seemed to be high end stores.
The urge to go into one of the stores was too much, but she refused to give in. Last time she had the freedom to go into a clothing store and choose her own clothing, she went a bit over board and spent all of her money. Control yourself Lillie! Have you learned nothing!?
She continued down the sidewalk talking random pictures. Lillie noticed how a lot of people in this place are actually eye-candy...very attractive. It’s like everyone could be a super model! Letting herself go, without even giving it a thought, she raised her hands with her camera on hand...snap!, she took a picture of a young boy that happened to be in sight. SHOOT!
This is bad...taking pictures of someone without their permission is a crime. She’s pretty sure the two made eye contact, surely the guy noticed.
It was well past midnight by the time Morty finished the last paperwork. With one last signature, he placed down the pen and then leaned back against the chair with a deep sigh. Pinching the bridge of his nose to stave off the slight headache pounding behind his temples, he cast a glance at his bed. He was tired, the desire for sleep creeping up with each passing second. It would be so nice to finally rest his weary body but lately, he came to notice that when he closed his eyes and let sleep claim him, strange dreams would appear.
Initially, he never put much thought into it. The first time it happened, Morty woke up in the morning, feeling slightly confused for some odd reason. It felt like he should have remembered something but no matter how hard he tried, nothing came to mind. Pushing the sensation away, he went on with his day, all but forgetting about the strange feeling until he slept that night. This time, there were flashes, barely noticeable but present in the strange dark expanse. When he attempted to make sense, he would wake up, feeling rested and yet like he hadn’t slept a wink.
The heartbeat monitor kept track of Lillie’s beats. Everything was stable, yet for the past 2 weeks, she has been in a coma caused by an unfortunate event as she one evening explored the forest near Ecruteak City, Johto.
“What are the details doctor?”, the nurse asked as the doctor took notes for Lillie’s record. “Well, her body is functioning perfectly, everything seems to be neurological.”, he scratched the back of his head, concerned in what will become of this young girl. “For what I can make out...she’s basically just sleeping. It is safe to say that she was hit by a hypnosis attack from a wild Pokemon.”, he stated as he heard the possible details from one of the local citizens that found her collapsed in the middle of the forest. There are many psychic and ghost type Pokemon near that forest, which made the situation a high possibility.
There had be cases like this in the past, but victims woke up no longer than a day later. “Best we can do now is wait.”, he took some final notes and left the room. The nurse took one last glance at Lillie’s sleeping face; she looked unreal, almost like a porcelain doll.
Where am I?
What is this place?
It’s cold...
It felt like she was floating in mid-air. Lillie stared at her feet, her toes dug in the grass. It was relaxing, but it felt strange...yet, hard to explain exactly what she was feeling. The scenery was beautiful, but she didn’t know when or how she got here. She didn’t feel scared or worried, just curious. What was I...doing?, she asked herself.
Time felt like it was passing by so slowly...
It felt lonely, yet there was this strange feeling that there was someone trying to reach out to her. She didn’t know where that sensation came from, but it was comforting and made her feel safe. Each time, the feeling for stronger and stronger...Who are you?, she thought strongly. Was her mind that strong? Moments later she heard clearly someone call out to her and touch her shoulder, only for a brief second, she turned and her eyes met with a young man. But he was gone, did she imagine it?
Lillie extended her arms, feeling like the wind between her finger and brushing her hair. She took a deep breath as she let herself fall on her back onto the grass like a child diving into a fluffy pool of feathers. The sky was clear, almost no clouds either. This was almost Lillie’s ideal paradise.
Just for a moment, she closed her eyes. Will we meet again?
