They're good kids, I'm pretty sure.
My thirteenth reason is the fact robot Charlie in the trilogy always asked herself, “Does it hurt?” because her father’s agony integrated it into her mind. Chances are he repeated that as a mantra to himself given that Henry desperately wanted to know if Charlie was at rest, if it didn’t hurt; being dead.
Because the story doesn’t use, did, but rather uses, does, I somewhat take this as how suicidal people mainly don’t usually focus on the pain of dying, but on the peacefulness of death. Though, I imagine both questions did rack his mind quite a bit, as he definitely made suicide bot, taking it into count that he wanted to share the same pain as his daughter.
And after Henry died, Charlie connected the phrase to Henry and suicide bot, carrying the burden of her dad’s own guilt. But, as Charlie also pushed this onto her brother as well and clung to the idea of him being alive like a lifeline, she would imitate her dad’s obsession of her life as well. Her life was really just stages of the grief her father went through, and it breaks my heart...
The reason robot Charlie dies to suicide bot at the end, is because that was Henry’s moment of acceptance of his daughter’s death, which is right after Charlie learned of her brother still being alive. After that, the woman at the end of the book is probably the stage of grief, Henry never made—the life after acceptance, the days when she would stop chasing after the memory of her brother and father.
And baby Charlie doodle cause I hate her!! /lh someone needa tell me that i don’t sound crazy saying all this, cause i certainly FEEL crazy
it really annoys me when I spend an hour on an edit and I post it on TikTok and it gets twenty likes and three hundred views.but the girls in my year are posting lip syncs and they get 1000 likes and 5000 views
not for the first time I am thinking about lemony, smoking outside the hotel denouement next to the taxi. lemony who smokes and doesn’t remember the exact sequence of events that led him to start, but knows he was young when he did, that he was addicted well before he was meant to have been allowed to buy them for himself. lemony who starts smoking only a couple of years after he remembered having some youthful idea that he would never be foolish enough to, and adults shouldn’t be encouraged to, until the world taught him that it wasn’t as simple as that and he changed his mind. lemony who once in his youth thought at least it gave him something of an air of mystery. but now it’s just another curse, one he doesn’t have the energy to try to break.

HOLLY JACKSON JUST POSTED THAT SEASON 3 OF AGGGTM HAS ALREADY BEEN FILMED IN SECRET AAAAAAAAAA
my drunken creation from last night.
olaf makes me SICK. i wish people would be willing to see deeper into him beyond the surface-level villain he appears to be at first. everyone he ever loved died or betrayed him. he was groomed into something spiteful at his most vulnerable. he was never enough for VFD, either side. never enough for anyone he loved. never truly succeeded in anything.
he makes me viscerally upset.
I had an animation idea in my head that was Charlotte to this song, but I can’t animate so I made an an edit instead

Testing to see if there’s a variant for agender
genuinely a series of unfortunate events has one of the best plots I’ve ever read/watched
a bunch of children getting tangled up in the mistakes their parents made and the history of people they never knew, all of which is connected in ways they’ll never understand and no one seems willing to explain
murders and arsons and love affairs and villains who knew good people and hurt good people, and secret organizations, and all of it is connected. and they didn’t ask to be here. they didn’t ask to be a part of this. yet here they are, and everywhere they go seems to lead back to what happened with olaf and their parents.
Wow I sure hope nothing bad happens!
