the way i see some nene ships , something that's been on my mind for a while now
aoinene feels like an hypothetical , a path non-crossed , a what if? that never materialized; but if it had , if the story had followed it , i don't think much would have changed , but our perspective on aoi and her character would extend a little , just a tiny bit , beyond what we already know . her friendship with akane , i think , would've trailed a different route though , so that kinda changes things xd ( but ah , aoi could have been bi! so maybe , the only thing that would change is her friendship with nene , the depth of it , and their interactions onward , and prior , adding a whole other layer to them ) , aah ... aoi staying with nene in the red house , sacrificing herself with nene ... so sweet and so devastating ... they've reached that trope , ride or die friendship
tsunene i see it as a potential , something waiting to happen , for its' time to blossom and shine . they're parallels , reflective waters , the protagonist and the antagonist; the heroine and the villain , yin yang . kounene is the rivaling herb to hananene , yet tsunene is the one that they pair up for against , an entire au centered around hananene vs. tsunene (where you had to choose one or the other for healing nene's broken heart) , the kiss (a whole load of baggage to unpack , plus having sat through the entire playthrough (all 7 endings+extras) of narisokonai snow white , their long-lost game that still reigns itself through jshk , it wouldn't be the first 'complicated twins falling in love with the same girl' they've ever made . xd i have no doubts for its' possibility , especially with tsukasa's recent development , a softer (tad tired) side in contrast to his twisted one , a long way to go!
kounene .. they're perfect . too perfect . their positivism drives them forward , but also drags them down , as it can be unwise sometimes , reckless sometimes , suicidal sometimes . their love for supernaturals , their desire to understand , to stay with them despite a completely different world from theirs , they stay . because they love , dearly , what they can't comprehend . kou is willing to die to be with mitsuba , wishes mitsuba could just say yes, die for me , that he'd do it in a heartbeart . nene crosses worlds , shores , timelines , ripping a bit of her soul , and get hurt , time and time again , all so hanako-kun could smile , wishing to protect him like he protects her , desiring to be with him , to live with him . kounene is perfect , because they both understand what the other wants , what the other feels , and they would only encourage it . worsen it . because kou loves mitsuba just as much as nene loves hanako , he gets it , she gets it , and that's why they are perfect . they would destroy themselves and each other trying to reach a world far away from them , the other cheering them on .
