arlecchino and lyney! i would love to write about them doing some stuff around the hoth, specifically arle having lyney take more control and gaining the respect of those around him in a way that's more authoritative. seeing what lyney wants to do and his personal take on things.

arlecchino and capitano! an UNDERRATED dynamic considering capitano was canonically at her tea parties and enjoyed them! i think arle would in fact get along with him. she has a voiceline that talks about how she respects him based on how he carries himself, and they have very similar temperaments it seems. idk, very Rational convos between them i think — and both khaenri'ahns, although obviously capitano actually lived it.

candace and nahida! we get glimpses of what the desert folk think of nahida and how they interact with her, with that event around her birthday being a taste that yeah they do respect her despite not being their god, but i think candace is very open-minded and would think nahida is worthy of her position, but also would like to share more desert culture with her.

nefer and nahida! i don't think nefer has much of an opinion on nahida, but i like the idea of trying to squeak something out of the archon of wisdom. the potential tension between these kinds of people is interesting to me. or maybe there's no tension at all.

nefer and wriothesely! nefer needs intel from him, with everything that's down there in meropide. nefer finding a way to slip in too, perhaps?

nicole and nahida! something about this potential interaction tickles me. nicole sharing tea and stories; they both understand the power of the lay lines and what storytelling does for the history of teyvat. but also it's just whimsical.

yae and ayato! another underrated dynamic considering yae has had a hand in the kamisato's affairs and history, as well as apparent tension between the two.

varka and wriothesely! i feel like they'd get on really well.

acheron and aventurine! i do think she wonders what he'll do in his life going forward, and hopes that at least on the inside, he's made some sort of peace. she worries about him, for sure.

rover and lupa! classic dynamic i feel. lupa likes hanging out with him period.

lucilla and lynae! lucilla naturally i think worries about her. lynae is a lot, and i don't think lucill asks those kinds of questions, even with her ability. she sort of "understood" when they first met and enrolled her.

lucilla and luuk! one of those wuwa annoyances where theoretically they should be working closely with each other but the game doesn't really show it.

lupa and brant! i think they'd have a lot of energy between the both of them.

raziel and any of your WHAs! i think she'd be fascinated by how they do things, as she catalogues everything in her grimoire.

evanescia and aha! since evanescia has their authority despite not being an emanator of elation itself as the overseer of the phantasmoon games. i wonder what their conversations ar elike.

when it comes to diaspora, i think it’s fun to see how their name would transform with time and culture, because that’s what happens. that’s how loan words happen, etc. how much does a name change and is it recognizable? is it still the same even if spelled a little different? it’s also meaningful to think about.

i've discussed this in the past but to elaborate on it more: in my mind palace varka is distantly from sumeru (maybe over 5 generations back). varka is the anglicized form of "varqah." so..... varka van fareed. anglicized to shit. JDFJDKLD i believe that when his relatives first came to mondstadt, they made tweaks to their name to feel more integrated into the culture. whole "van" isn't exactly a good translation for "zadeh", but this is what they thought "van" meant, so originally faridzadeh. they settled into a flemish area of mondstadt and made a life there. this is my headcanon for his full name 🧘‍♀️ it also sounds natively dutch if you didn’t know any better.

tao saotome and zoey! demon hunters with different methods (korean mythology and abilities vs Just Shooting Them Dead) and personalities! probably disagreeing a ton. maybe one saves the other.

jolyne cujoh and your oc mina bahrami! i think jolyne would catch be curious about her art, and maybe along the way would want to get involved in her "work."

sara and your oc tamashiro ameko! sara being a tengu would probably be interesting i feel like. she presents as human 99% so i wonder how that would work out. sara loves stopping by for the offerings.

with lupa! i think she'd admire him and his way of life. every warrior walks their own path for whatever reason, and to stick to it is something few can ever. he's kind of so cool also.

with hiyuki! i feel like they'd get on relatively well. they live lonesome lives and have similar serious disposition.

with acheron! a swordswoman from a distant land, who's blade holds the ability to tear away fleeing dreams.

aalto and lucilla! he was great in her story and i think she'd still want to keep in touch with him regardless; while she has her ulterior motives, they're not very sinister — she just likes having allies where she can get them and knowing everyone's intentions for the sake of her students.

ruan mei and algaea! i think they'd hit it off somehow... they both have similar interests in beauty and traditional sensibilities. but also ruan mei would want to learn about "demigods," as they are fundamentally different to the rest of the universe's definitions of emanators + gold blood what da hell.

evanescia and mydei! i can't describe it, but something about their personalities would be fun to play off of. also, a pseudo immortal having nothing to do with the Abundance? that's crazyyy

jolyne cujoh and edgeworth! i just think i'd be funny that this delinquent girl who gets into trouble all the time would be familiar with a prosecutor, until a certain case that has her involved and much like the aa:i games she ends up helping him find out the true culprit.

fieren and xianyun! ancient people who have lost so much along the way but are here all the same.

nicole and easthies... witches... nicole can't speak, but the way magic work in WHA would be up her alley...

acheron and argenti! i think there's something to be said about a knight who fights for something with no guarantee still exists is admirable to her, and wonders if he'd still continue even if he knew the answer. but i think, for the most part, she'd be interested in accompanying him for a short leg of a journey and seeing his perspective on life.

gwyn and ogami! two immortal death guys. in fact i think they're very similar in age? anyway, i'm not sure what kind of shenanigans gwyn gets up to, but some sort of supernatural escapade could be fun.

gwyn and acheron, too! for similar reasons. how they deal with death, their own death and life, and how they choose continue on.

ashveil and acheron! two weird guys with hidden horrors but trudge on anyway. after all these years i feel like they've definitely crossed at some point.

ruan mei and fugue! i feel like it's only a matter of time before they cross again. while the answer to fugue's questions are hers alone and ruan mei doesn't necessarily want to know the answer, i think she wants to see fugue really thrive.

acheron and aventurine! i think she’d wonder what he’s up to.

varka and eula! she seems to have a one-sided competitive spirit with regards to him but he's wants her to do her best. i think every once in a while he'd want to clash with her to see where she's at and all that energy she has pent up.

hiyuki and galbrena! i just think the combo would be fun.

sara and yoimiya! i think while sara wouldn't feel necessarily Sorry for the vision hunt decree stuff, i think she'd want to make it up to yoimiya in some way, or at the very least, interact. worst comes to worst, they can have an archery competition; fireworks and lightning are one in the same: in that very instant, they light up the sky, and then fade away.

xilonen and mualani! it's really rare i get to see natlan characters, so im just gripping tightly on principal. xilonen surfing with mualani would be so fun, even if xilonen is like "im a cat i hate being WETTTT" or them painting vinyl covers together!

arlecchino and navia! the spina head and the 4th harbinger. where will this go. is it tense? is it amicable? arle knows being on her good side is for the best. why don't we go out for afternoon tea and pastries.

heizou and diluc! he fancies himself a detective rofl BUT i thnk it would be fun if heizou's in mondstadt for like a trail that started in inazuma and landed in mond, and diluc feels he can get down to it faster than the knights can.

nahida and nefer! nefer turned her back on sumeru many years ago, but i think an audience with nahida would be closure for her in some way

candace and nahida! she is not her god but nahida is one worthy of the title of archon all the same, that event for her birthday showed that desert folk are chill with her. she'd get her sweets from the desert.

xianyun and gaming, as a continuation of the lantern rite event. she helps him with anything he needs, especially when it comes to finding new and creative ways to have special effects.

xianyun and xingqiu..... talking about books and the way of the sword...

varka and diluc! he's always looking out for him in small ways, but i think most juicy would be varka sticking his nose it being in conflict with diluc in some way.

varka and crepus! HELLO..... the fact that we have lore where them two and jean's dad were all close friends at some point is kind of wholesome. just as we also know that crepus envied being a knight. i dunno... i think there's potential for a lot.

arlecchino and escoffier! random duo but i think arle would come to her for the finest food and pay top dollar for it. recommendation of a harbinger can only be a positive right. Smile.

eula and lisa! i think the way lisa is would frustrate her in a funny way but eula only has respect for her.

arle and columbina! naturally, i think she would be happy hanging out with her friend again uwahhh

arle and signora! like the above, although they could have more serious conversation. there's that line where signora stops by for attention from the kids.

arle and neuvillette! tensions between them, their positions, and what arle has done for fontaine. there was that whole thing wher neuvillette wouldn't try children of the hearth i believe, but that was a favor.

eula and chiori! i like the idea of eula going to her to get fitted for a dress.

sara and heizou! them investigating something together could be fun.

candace and collei! she would adoooore herrrrrrr oh my days. rangers are highly respected.

candace and nilou, mutual water girls. perhaps they can share cultural dances.

candace and cyno! i think in general candace would always welcome him into aaru village with open arms, and would actually be appreciative of sparring with him to test her strength.

nefer and cyno! i wonder if they'd be wary of each other... nefer makes it her job to be in everyone's business...
