Modelled after the gracious @learnelle's April Days of Productivity challenge, I propose June Days of Productivity.
My semester has concluded, yet there remains so many things that, without the illusion of expectation and structure motivating me to put in the work, would probably go untouched (unread books, pdfs wasting away in the Downloads folder, hobbies neglected in favour of daydreaming…). Whether you feel the same, need a push to get through the last month of your own semester, or just feel up to the challenge, I invite you to tag along.
The idea is simple:
Compile your June goals into one post, then mark each item as desired upon completion. This is mine.
Tag all your posts #june days of productivity, that way we can find each other. Daily, weekly, and sporadic updates are all acceptable.
Starting 1st June, do one thing every day to bring you closer to achieving your goals, however minor it might be. Rest is productive! So is connecting with nature, one's friends, family and pets.
Enjoy the journey! You can't fail as long as you are having fun.
On 30th June, we can congratulate ourselves for our dedication.
Additionally, I encourage everyone who participates to reflect on their month as it progresses. Pay attention to your habits and choices, what works and what might not, whether you are pushing yourself farther than you ought to or can stand to push yourself more, and so forth.
Reblog this post to spread the word, and comment with any questions that may arise.
I really needed this.
Will post my June days of productivity later today, so I can start this journey focusing on my goals.
Happy June <3
19 May 2026 🌤️
Project coordinator and I decided to try out a reaction last week that was "most likely not going to work" because "it usually doesn't" as he said. But I've just left the SEM lab and let me tell you, it worked pretty damn well. The cherry on top of this project 🍒
Done with the intro (FINALLY)!! I still gotta write the abstract and deal with some details like phrasing and such, but my brunt of my project is done, I think. Just scheduled a meeting with my advisor to go through everything on monday, and I very much hope she likes it. Like please. Please like it I don't want to have to look at this again-
Maybe I can now think about how I'll fix whatever the fuck my sleep schedule turned into these past few weeks...? Maybe? I have a permanent pressure headache and can barely focus on anything at this point but there's still so much to study for even with this out of the way aaaaaaaaa
i had so much to do i almost feel like i didn't do anything at all. this afternoon passed in a blur of writing and writing and writing some more. but i am finally done with my last essay for this year!!! the joy!!!
and now I'll write a 2k essay + bibliography in under 24hrs ....
Not the best start for the month… still have tons of reading to do before tomorrow’s meeting with my supervisor. Looks like I’ll be pulling an all-nighter on this chapter and I’m already wiped out.
Wish me luck <3
hi :)
soooo here's how my April days of productivity went:
it's only fair to say I was delusional when I imagined I'd hit all the marks on the goals I've set for the last month, cause the real thing is I could solely focus on my dissertation goals. And although I felt sleep deprived, exhausted and suicidal to do whatever it required me to, but I really feel very happy, productive and proud of myself rn!
and what's level all those feelings up is that I can FINALLY -and for the first time of my life, see the finish line of this very long journey (it's still a bit far but whatever lol).
I hope your April went well too and of course I’d like to thank @learnelle for creating this useful and inspiring challenge.
And happy May everyone :)
Lovely to see we have spaces where you can gain access to so much literature!
13.04.26. 💐🌷 spring has fully arrived! and with it my first productive writing day in what feels like forever. i enjoyed some homemade carrot cake and a london fog while writing and i think that helped motivate me :)
Indian monsoon
You can hear the rain pouring, probably my favourite sounds in the world, after of course the sound of waves 🌊.
Lol tumblr’s festives on April 1st.
It’s been several months since I last shared an update on my dissertation progress, and honestly, there’s not much to report. I’ve been on a hiatus due to life happening, you could say!
So, I decided to start over and get things done as soon as possible, because I need to begin a new chapter in my life where I’m not growing grey hairs from anxiety. So here I am, taking part in the ADOP challenge to reach my goals while enjoying the process, sharing my progress, and keeping myself accountable along the way.
Here’s my list of goals to achieve by the end of April:
Complete the remaining analysis section of my dissertation.
Write at least five pages of the Introduction chapter.
Finish the book I began reading this month and select another from my list.
Maintain a weekly journal. (I only wrote twice)
FaceTime my long-distance best friend,
Meet with my supervisor at least twice.
By the end of April, reward myself with something I've been longing for.
Clearly we're all very busy, so let's motivate each other to get through April with a productivity challenge! Here's how it'll work:
Make a tumblr post listing all your goals for April, like this. It can also include a little introduction about yourself.
Use the tag "april days of productivity" for every post.
Starting on April 1st, do one small thing everyday that brings you closer to achieving your goals. You can post about it everyday, or every few days.
Once you've achieved a goal, update the tumblr post from step 1! You can strike through your goal, or anything else to show you're done with it!
On the 30th of April we'll congratulate ourselves for getting through this together! <3
Reblog this post if you'd like to participate, and comment if you have any questions!
Knowledge can’t be taken away from you.
