I think I dislike time travel perpollo fic specifically because in most of the ones I've read Percy doesn't get to go back home. Let that boy go home, Apollo is fucking immortal he'll be there when he gets back. What? You think one of the most romantic men in the damn pantheon wouldn't still love Percy after three thousand years? BULLSHIT!

Give me Percy somehow managing to hide his origins and when the time comes for him to go home he swears that as soon as he finishes checking on his family he'll find him. Who makes Apollo promise that no matter how long it takes him to come back he'll still love him. Let Apollo think another love has ended in tragedy until 3,000 years later when Percy rushes into his arms after being missing for months. Let Apollo laugh in disbelief, let him cry. Let them kiss passionately!

Maybe Ambessa gave her entire army the week off before battle. Maybe Jinx and Ekko were on unfathomable amounts of cocaine. We'll never know

So I was readin something and it said that the girl who was the actress for Sarah in 1992 newsies thought that people didn’t like her character because they were jealous of Sarah’s relationship with Jack and when she found out it was because of Javey, she found it hilarious because “David[Daveys actor] and Christian [Jack’s actor] are the most heterosexual males ever”

Whenever Jack gets a good idea a lightbulb pops up above him. Unfortunately, he’s so much of an idiot that this has never happened.

I find it kind of stupid how 'half full' vs 'half empty' is framed as an optimist/pessimist thing. If it starts full and gets halfway drained, it's half empty. If it starts empty and gets halfway filled, it's half full. If you don't know the starting state it's both simultaneously.
