 due   to   her   impressive    &&   genetically   enhanced   physique,   hammer   lives   beyond   that   of   a   century.   though   never   outwardly   aging (garth)    &&    not   actually   ageless (reaver),   hammer’s   lifespan   takes   it’s   stages   internally.   ever   powerful,   ever   imposing,   the   exhaustion   she   feels   as   her   presence   outlives   that   of   her   friends   +   family,   even   sparrow   &&   garth,   soon   takes   its   toll   on   even   her.

 sensing   her   limit,   she   chooses   to   tie   up   her   loose   ends   before   leaving   the   small,   cozy   northern   temple   of   warrior   monks   &&   returning   back   to   oakfield.   back   home.   rounding   the   hundred   year   mark,   hammer   arrives   back   in   time   to   perform   the   golden   oak   ritual   a   second   time   around  –  this   time   alone    &&    this   time   for   good.

 completing   the   ritual   once   again,   providing   one   more   safe,   fruitful   livelihood   for   yet   another   century,   hammer   then   embraces   her   fate.   her   strong   heart   ceases    &&    she   is   buried   with   the   golden   acorn   of   oakvale  –                                                                                     laid   to   rest   beside   her   father.
