Show me what a little baby you are.
Show me how you can’t seem to keep your thumb out of your mouth, and how comforting it seems to make you once you start sucking on it. Show me how you can’t keep your little droolies from dribbling down your chin. Show me that no matter how many times you try to tell me that you’re a big girl, you can’t keep from making stinky messes in your panties, and you didn’t even realize your peepees had already come out, so you just sat there in your mess and kept playing until your dada noticed what you’ve done. Show me how embarrassed you get when you’re dressed in the most babyish outfits, but know there’s no sense arguing because that’s what babies are supposed to wear. Show me that you’re supposed to be kept in diapies, and they’re not just for show, and you never seem to mind how full you make them. Show me how distracted you can get from watching shows meant for little babies, or those yummy plastic keys you can’t take your eyes off of. Show me how much fun you’re having just laying on your back and playing with the cute sockies covering your little piggies. Show me how you’re not really sure how to use the little baby fork next to your princess plate, and how easy it is to use your fingers to pick up your skettis. Show me how hard it is for you to get your food in your own mouth, and how easy it is for it to wind up in your hair instead. Show me that no matter how hard you try, you can’t seem to keep any of your clothes clean, because you love crawling around playing all day and it doesn’t matter how dirty you get. Show me how you clench your crayons with your whole fist, and how scribbling the colors all over the page is so much easier than staying in the lines like the big girls do. Show me you can’t be trusted to drink from a big girl cup, or even a sippy cup, you’re much too small for that and need your baba. Show me how much you need your dada to watch over you and protect you and take care of everything for you. Show me how it’s hard for you to use any big girl words when you talk because they’re too complicated for babies. Show me that you’re too little to be watching scary shows, and you can’t sleep unless you’re tucked in next to your dada in your comfy feetie jammies. Show me that babies have no self control, and can’t keep their hands out of their diapies, or off their daddies. Show me that babies aren’t concerned about health food, and ask for candies, ice cream, cookies, macaroni and cheese, and all the most yummy things for your tummy. Show me how jealous and pouty you can get if you don’t get your way or you think you’re not getting enough attention. Show me how hard it is for babies to keep from having little temper tantrums. Show me how excited you can get when you see the toy aisle or all the pretty new stuffies you want to get, and ask me to get all of them for you. Show me you need your dada for everything, from tying your shoes, to pulling up your sockies if they fall down, wiping away your boogies, and giving you bubble baths. Show me that you know your dada is there to take care of everything for you, and it doesn’t even cross your mind to go to anyone else when something is wrong, and you know you’re never being a pest or a mooch, you’re just being his baby. Show me how it’s hard for babies to remember all those rules, and that you need spankings and corner times to help you remember them. Show me how much you love your milkies by drinking your babas all up, and you need two hands to hold them. Show me how your dada’s approval and love is all you’ll ever need, and his opinion is the only one that matters to you, and you pay no mind to anyone else. Show me that all of these things aren’t just what you want, but what you need, what makes your little princess parts tingly and feel funny, and it makes you desperate and needy and clingy and ache for your dada’s touch and undivided attention at all times. Show me what a little baby you are.
