finally back from a mental health hiatus, not to mention 2020 was a really sh*tty year for everybody.. anyways if my friends are still around on tumblr here are some updates (TW: mentions of suicide)

2020 * early June 2020 - broke up with my ex of 4 years * late June - almost decided to unalive myself but decided not to * July - finally went to therapy, found out I might have undiagnosed ADHD * late August - started dating again

2021 * Jan - quit my great job and toxic boss * Feb - quit my toxic job and toxic boss * March - got a new job with a great boss * June - saw my first musical (Heathers) * October - got a second job

2022 * Feb - started full timing my second job * June - parents kicked me out * Dec - siblings also moved out so i moved in with them

2023 * Feb - went to see SIX the musical on my birthday * Nov - went to my first concert (Coldplay) * Dec - travelled with my bf for the first time (also travelled without family for the first time), saw Hamilton the musical

2024 * Jan - travelled to my home country for a couple weeks and saw my childhood best friend so far so good

Banishing herbs masterpost

Banishing negative energies/spirits comes in three steps. The initial banishing, then purification of the space to clear it of anything that resides and lastly protection is put in place to prevent negative energies returning. 

Here is a masterpost of herbs you can use for this process in your home and how you use them.

Banish:

St.Johns Wort - Burn, spreading the smoke throughout your living space to remove negative forces/energies. Cloves - Burn, spreading the smoke throughout your living space to remove negative forces/energies. Dragon’s blood - Burn, spreading the smoke throughout your living space to remove negative forces/energies. Black pepper - Scatter around your home to banish evil spirits. Thyme - Burn, spreading the smoke throughout your living space, can also be hung for purification. Basil - Keep in sachets to drive off hostile spirits.  Bloodroot - Place in windows and doorways to banish evil spirits and curses. Chrysanthemum - Growing chrysanthemum in your front garden is supposed to banish evil spirits. Clover - Sprinkle around the home to remove negative spirits. Hawthorn - Keep sachet in your home to repel ghosts and evil spirits. Vertivert - Burn, spreading the smoke throughout your living space to remove negative forces/energies.

Purify:

Rosemary water (can add salt and garlic for added potency) - Ensure you spray thresholds, spray in rooms as you see fit. Also good for purification baths. Angelica - Scatter in home to purify the space. Benzoin - Smoulder, spreading the smoke to purify the space. Cloves - Burn to purify the space. Dragon’s blood - Sprinkle around your home for purification.  Fennel seed - Hang at doors and windows to purify and ward off evil. Hyssop - Add to baths to cleanse yourself. Hang sachets or hang in home to purify it.  Mimosa - Scatter around for purification. Oak leaves - Burn for purification. Parsley - Add to bath for personal purification. Peppermint - Burn to clear negative energies. 

Protect:

Salt - Sprinkle over thresholds to repel spirits and negative energies. Angelica - Sprinkle outside the home for protection. Basil - Sprinkle in every room within home for protection. Bay leaf - Place in corner of each room to protect all that live there. Belladonna - Provides protection when hidden somewhere in the home. Calendula - Scatter under the bed for protection. Cinquefoil - Fill an empty egg shell with it and keep it in the home for power protection. Cypress - Hang in the home for protection. Frankincense - Burn for protection Juniper - Burn for protection Marigold - Scatter under the bed for protection while sleeping - Mint - Scatter in home for protection. St Johns Wort - Keep in a jar near a window or burn in a fireplace for protection.  Valerian - Used in baths for protection.  Vervain - Use in sachets, dream pillows and baths for protection of home and people in it.  Willow - Keep a piece in the home to protect against evil.

Flying devil oil is a potent protective and banishing oil with a nasty bite to it. The formulation is extremely simple and you likely already have the ingredients.

Ingredients:

Red pepper flakes

Olive oil, or any other carrier oil

Sanitized container (preferably dark to preserve the oil)

Mix a small amount of olive oil (perhaps an ounce) with as many red pepper flakes as you desire. Seal the container and shake.

The red peppers should fly around the oil like little devils fleeing your mighty wrath.

► Use in a harsh banishment (where the person/spirit really deserves a kick in the teeth)

► Use protectively, to send the devils ‘flying away’, including uncrossings and getting rid of bad luck

► Use like a snow globe and shake vigorously while using visualization to imagine something swiftly departing

The physical oil will take time to infuse, but shaking it like a ragdoll in the storm of your anger will work immediately. Do not leave the oil in the sun to infuse. Consider making it now to have it when you need it.

For those with ethical concerns, this is not a pleasant or gentle formula.

Roadblock Remover Spell

This spell is intended to clear up negative situations or blockages that are in your way that may be stopping your desires from manifesting.

SUPPLIES NEEDED:

One white candle (symbolizes purification, cleansing)

A piece of paper

A pen

Herbs corresponding to cleansing/banishing, such as: ⚬ sage ⚬ sandalwood ⚬ bay leaves ⚬ dragon’s blood ⚬ rosemary ⚬ lavender ⚬ basil ⚬ yarrow ⚬ mugwort ⚬ black or red pepper

STEPS:

🕯 On the piece of paper, write the negative emotions you’ve been feeling. Go into detail about how stuck you’ve been feeling, and how you wish to break free from whatever or whomever has you in it’s web.

🕯 Place the candle on top of your petition.

🕯 Sprinkle the herbs you chose to use on top of the candle. As you are doing so, visualize the purpose of each herb. Feel the doors in your life opening, your desires now coming to you with ease rather than with delay.

🕯 Light the candle, sit in front of it, and meditate on what you wish to happen after this spell. Imagine yourself getting what you want, the blockages melting away like ice on hot pavement.

🕯 Command it to get out of your way. This is your life, you have the power to pick and choose who and what you want in it, so do it. Do this verbally or mentally, whichever you see fit.

🕯 Allow the candle to burn down completely, or, you can leave it on until you feel the blockages were removed. If you choose the second method, you can light this same candle again if you feel the need to ever again.

Cleansing Techniques for Low Spoon Days

I’m really glad this was requested because it’s an issue a lot of people face and one I’ve run into a lot during my studies. I totally understand why people say that everything should be clean and organized for a good, thorough cleanse, but that just isn’t realistic or possible for everyone. Some days you can do it, other days it feels like you’re staring down Mount Everest.

So I’m gonna share some of the cleansing methods I use that help on low spoon days.

Music - There’s no catch-all for this one. Everyone will have a different type of music that does the trick, and that genre will change depending on what you need in that moment. Sometimes I blast Icon for Hire, other times I’ll go with Cirque Du Soleil or Kevin Kern. It doesn’t matter what you listen to so long as it makes your space and you feel better.

Open Up a Window - I’m not a huge nature witch, but I’ve found it very helpful to have fresh air blowing into my home, especially when there’s a lot of negative crap circling around me. Sometimes on bad depression days I’ll just stand in front of the window and let the air wash over me. I combine this one a lot with the first method.

Scented Candles 1 - If you have the ability to light candles choose a scent that makes you feel good and light ‘em up. Sit close to a lit candle for added bonus of aiding in mental cleansing.

Scented Candles 2 - This is gonna sound weird, mostly because it is. If you have floor/rug space enough to vacuum, take a scented candle that you like, carve it so that you’re left with a bunch of shavings, and sprinkle them all over your rug/floor. Depending on your preferences you may want to vacuum them up after an hour or two. But if you want to leave them, less work for you and easier on the spoons. You can sprinkle them under rugs or welcome mats for the same effect and no one will know they’re there. I’ve done this a few times and as weird as it seems, I’ve found it very helpful.

Tea - If you’re not too worried about potentially attracting little bug friends, you can do the fourth method with tea leaves instead of candle shavings. Some people might find this more effective because of the cleansing properties of many herbal teas.

Air Fresheners - Find an air freshener that really leaves your space smelling fresh and clean. Inscribe the bottom or side of the container with a sigil designed for cleansing.

Boil Water - I do this a lot when my house is too dry, so why not when it needs a cleanse, too? You can add things to the water to aid in cleansing. I usually do crisp apples, orange peels, cinnamon, anything that I personally associate with cleansing. Find out what works for you, load it up, and leave the sucker there to boil.

Salt - I can already imagine the eye rolls, but it helps. I keep a bottle of sea salt next to my bed so when I’m just fed up with my environment and feel like I need something fast to push away heavy, negative shit  I’ll grab a handful and just throw it. It also feels good to throw stuff across my room *shrug*

That’s all I’ve got for the moment, but I’m sure there are eight million other methods to cleansing that are easier on the spoons than a full house cleaning session. If anyone has methods of their own to add to this, please do! I’ll probably reblog as I see them :)

Emotional Cleansing Spell

Ingredients:

Rain water (if you don’t have this, use filtered water or tap water)

Rosemary (just the leaves, no stems)

A few drops of essential oil; use which ever scent that will make you the happiest

A small pinch of salt (you’ll want it to dissolve)

Lavender

Chamomile

A bowl

A wash cloth

Put the water into a bowl. Add the essential oil, the salt and the herbs. Take a wash cloth and rub the spell water on your skin. While doing so, I want you to imagine all of your troubles, all of your baggage being washed away by the cleansing water. You can bathe however much you are comfortable with, whether it be your whole body or just patches. Continue to bathe until you are feeling cleansed and relaxed. If you have water left over, strain the herbs from it and deposit them in the trash, and dump the water outside or down the sink.

Floorwashes don’t get as much love as they deserve, if you ask me! They combine actual physical cleaning of your house, as well as magical cleansing. They are super discreet, and perfect for anyone who can’t (or doesn’t want to) engage in obvious witchcraft rituals.

This simple spell was inspired by my mother-in-law’s ‘recipe’ to cleanse her hour of any unwanted energy 😊! You can use it when moving into a new home (to remove any bad vibrations lingering from past residents), to welcome a new season with a fresh slate, or anytime you feel the need to cleanse your house of bad energy.

Ava Elizabeth’s Cleansing Lavender Floorwash

You will need;

Fresh basil leaves

Pine needles

Lavender (fresh or dried - if you don’t have any, one or two drops of lavender essential oil works as well)

Make a strong infusion from these ingredients, in hot water for about 5 to 10 minutes. Focus on your intent while adding them: your energy and the magic in you will make all the difference. Strain and add to a bucket of hot water, with a little bit of vinegar. Clean floors as needed. 

A floorwash should not be removed or washed away with more water; allow it to air-dry so that its power can fill the entire room. If you can, open all windows so the bad energy you are chasing away has a pathway out. Let sunlight and fresh air in ☀️ !

Good Luck Knot Magic

A super fast knot spell for good luck.

Find yourself some red, white, yellow/gold, blue, and green string (or ribbon, yarn, embroidery thread, whatever). 

Cut them into about 10 inch pieces. Ideally, the string should wrap around your wrist or ankle plus 2-3 inches, depending on the thickness of your knotting material. So 10 inches might be too much. Try to overestimate rather than underestimate.

Hold the threads together and make a knot with all of them saying/thinking/etc. “With this knot the spell’s begun”

Make a knot in the red string. “This knot is for luck.”

Make a knot in the yellow/gold string. “This knot is for wealth and prosperity.”

Make a knot in the blue string “This knot is for protection”

Make a knot in the green string. “This knot is for growth.”

Make a knot in the white string. “This knot is for preservation.”

Knot all the threads together. “And this knot is to bring it all together and bring this lucky boon to me.”

Then tie the cord around your wrist or ankle. Or you can carry it with you.

Lykoura’s “Lucky Day” Spell!

Hello there, followers! Here’s a little spell to bring a friend or loved one good luck! Best performed at dawn or in the early morning!

Ingredients:

Basil

Lemon peel

Rosemary

Cinnamon 

Tools:

Mortar and pestle

Steps:

Assemble the ingredients in the mortar in whichever order you like.

Take a moment to focus your intent and energy. If there’s a specific problem that you’re trying to help your friend or loved one overcome, try envisioning this problem being solved.

Take the pestle and begin to grind the herbs into a fine powder. While doing so, repeat the following incantation:

Little spice, little spice, 

Grinding up so fine and nice,

Ride the wind now without delay,

And bring (insert name) some good luck today.

Once the herbs have been ground up, go outside. If you are able to, climb to a high point like the top of a flight of stairs, or onto a roof. 

Pour the powder into your hand, repeat the last line of the incantation, and then blow the powder out into the open air. Wherever the target is, the powder will find them and bless them with a little bit of luck!

Roadblock Remover Spell

This spell is intended to clear up negative situations or blockages that are in your way that may be stopping your desires from manifesting.

SUPPLIES NEEDED:

One white candle (symbolizes purification, cleansing)

A piece of paper

A pen

Herbs corresponding to cleansing/banishing, such as: ⚬ sage ⚬ sandalwood ⚬ bay leaves ⚬ dragon’s blood ⚬ rosemary ⚬ lavender ⚬ basil ⚬ yarrow ⚬ mugwort ⚬ black or red pepper

STEPS:

🕯 On the piece of paper, write the negative emotions you’ve been feeling. Go into detail about how stuck you’ve been feeling, and how you wish to break free from whatever or whomever has you in it’s web.

🕯 Place the candle on top of your petition.

🕯 Sprinkle the herbs you chose to use on top of the candle. As you are doing so, visualize the purpose of each herb. Feel the doors in your life opening, your desires now coming to you with ease rather than with delay.

🕯 Light the candle, sit in front of it, and meditate on what you wish to happen after this spell. Imagine yourself getting what you want, the blockages melting away like ice on hot pavement.

🕯 Command it to get out of your way. This is your life, you have the power to pick and choose who and what you want in it, so do it. Do this verbally or mentally, whichever you see fit.

🕯 Allow the candle to burn down completely, or, you can leave it on until you feel the blockages were removed. If you choose the second method, you can light this same candle again if you feel the need to ever again.

How to achieve our manifestation in less than three days.

This is a question that is always on everyone's mind because, let's be real, we are all impatient to get our desires as fast as possible. So what can we do to get what we want as fast as possible? Here is THE guide on how to do it.

Is begin "Delulu" the only method to make your manifestation come faster?

People often say that starting with a delusional mindset speeds up manifestation, and you know what? They're absolutely right! Being "delulu" is like wielding a powerful instrument that we can play however and whenever we like. 

But why is it so powerful?  Because we reprogram ourselves by slowly changing our mindset by faking that everything is already ours, reprogramming ourselves means unlearning things that don’t serve our wellness and replacing them with things that do.

Personally, I find it super effective to envision myself in an interview when I try to manifest, telling the journalist how I became so powerful and how everything I've manifested took little to no time. It works amazingly! I get what I want from the universe in just three days by doing this.

We can speed up our manifestations, not just by affirming and believing that we already have what we desire (which alone is often enough to make things happen faster), but also by applying some of the 12 laws of the universe:

The law of Devine ones:

This principle emphasizes that everything in the universe is intrinsically linked, forming a single, unified whole. It implies that we are all interconnected, not only with each other but also with the source, or universal consciousness. With this law, we simply apply the reality that we are already connected to our desire, even if it has to be created from 0. It is already connected to us, and vice versa.

The law of Detachment 1.0:  

The Law of Detachment is a core principle in deductive reasoning and formal logic. It asserts that if a conditional statement (an "if-then" statement) is true and the hypothesis (the "if" part) holds true, then the conclusion (the "then" part) must logically be true as well. I will give a quick example: if I am a witch, then I can do magic (an "if-then" statement), so if I am a witch, and it is true, then the fact that I can do magic is also true. Applying this to manifestations is now as simple as it can be. If I am manifesting this (which is true), then my manifestation is already here (also true).

The law of Detachment 2.0:

The Law of Detachment underscores the importance of trust and surrender. By relinquishing control and not clinging to specific outcomes, you create a state of allowing that can make it easier for your desires to manifest. This approach minimizes stress and resistance, which can otherwise hinder the manifestation process. In essence, the Law of Detachment in manifestation is about balancing desire with surrender. You hold your vision and take steps towards it, but remain flexible and open to how and when it manifests in your life.

The Law of Inspired Action:

Manifestation may require us to take inspired, and intentional action aligned with our desires. This law emphasizes the importance of actively pursuing our goals and dreams while remaining open to guidance and opportunities. For example, if I manifest to go on a great adventure and make a lot of friends along the way, I will have to take the intentional action to book it.

The Law of Rhythm:

Everything in the universe operates in cycles and rhythms. This law suggests that there are natural ebbs and flows, ups and downs, and that understanding these rhythms can help us navigate life more harmoniously. A way that I manifest things is to listen to music that makes me feel powerful and in control of the whole universe. These laws are not the only way but they for sure are a way. You can use all of them or use only one it is really up to you and i really suggest you learn about the 12 laws because they are a must for manifesting your dream life.
