Yay I can finally share these! You guys are the first to know about the ACOTAR travel postcards I designed that are officially licensed by SJM! 💙

This was literally such a fun project and I started this on my cross-country road trip and I cranked them out so fast. I loved every second of this and I do have a few more ideas for other places in the ACOTAR universe too.

My point is: when the pilot came out I had no idea that Stolas was going to be such a multi-faceted character. Or that he was going to be my fave.

Wait how many trans girls are also on the autism spectrum?

I have a whole theory about how more autistic people than average come out as trans because for whatever reason being on the spectrum makes you more aware of your own gender. Like if you're unhappy with some part of your life it's easier to recognize that as Gender Emotions if you're on the spectrum

That's actually a studied phenomenon, autistic people are significantly more likely to identify as LGBT than the general population, as well as less likely to be religious, and the most common theory I've seen is that autistic people feel less need to conform to societal expectations, so if an autistic person is gay they're less likely to hide/repress it for the sake of fitting in.
