It took him a while to proceed. If anything, he was even more shocked now. There was no relief to see that Akashi wasn’t dying - there only was disbelief in what bullcrap was happening right now. “You did…what?” His voice was tinged by anger.
“I allowed myself to make a joke.” Akashi smiled even though he knew that he made Takao angry. But he could not understand why? The redhead was usually always so serious and intimidating but whenever he spent time with his hawk he felt something change in him. He assumed that Kazunari would like his joke but maybe he went a bit too far.
Takassin's Creed: Our love is made by the death of others

A chuckle left Kazunari’s throat, watching Seijuro through narrowed eyes. Although, he was well aware of his surrounding and possible guards interrupting this adorable meeting, he had other things to focus on right now. The elimination of the templar with the remarkable red hair was his highest priority. “Mhm,” he hummed, beginning to circle the other like some sort of prey – not daring to shift his gaze away, not even thinking about it, “Fair in all means of the Creed.” Nothing is true, everything is permitted. The Creed’s maxim.
The sword whatsoever was loosely in his hand – he hadn’t decided to strike an attack yet and if he did, he wanted to make sure that it would seem reckless.
Honestly, the assassin enjoyed hearing Akashi talk like this - talk like he had already won. This would make his victory even more memorable. “I appreciate the effort you put into the fantasy of my death.” His voice was low, tinged with mockery and malice. “– But I am sorry to disappoint you, I didn’t plan on dying on such a sunny day.” A grin formed on his lips. “You, however – I will make sure the grass beneath our feet will turn as crimson as your hair. Then I will let you rot in the humid air until vermin decides to taste of you ~ ”
The hawk shut his mouth as he stopped walking, letting his hues trail to the ground. The grasp around his blade tightened. In the next moment, he lunged for an attack – striking for the emperor’s flank.
"Your creed means nothing to me," Akashi replied and pulled the left corner of his mouth slightly up. The Assassin's creed? Pah! It would never guarantee a fair fight, it would never make sure whether or not this dirty hawk would try just as dirty tricks. At any moment he could pull his hidden blades and it would be the end. Even if Akashi fell today, the other's victory would never be one to be proud of since it was earned with lies.
Seijuro frowned while he listened to the assassin, his eyes never leaving him and the hand that held his sword. His gaze narrowed as he replied. "The grass beneath our feet will indeed turn bright red, dyed by your own sinful blood."
The emperor moved his both feet slightly apart to get ready and then it began. Adrenaline went through his veins, making him more attentive and his limbs move faster. The rush intensified with the first strike of his enemy which he parried with a swift movement of his own weapon. The sound the two crossed swords filled the backyard for a few seconds and were disrupted by the emperor's first attack, also aiming for the flank of the other.

Takao shivered at the glare of Akashi. This aura was horrifying and the hawk immediately regretted intruding the emperor’s home. “Eh-he, don’t worry – no one will get to know about this. We don’t want any trouble, eh, do we?”
Instinctively, he took a step back, swallowing hard. “The…the door was opened a-and I - “ Takao didn’t dare to finish the sentence. He knew that he was treading in dangerous waters and any wrong word could lead to his elimination.
“Why am I not convinced?” Akashi asked back and took another step closer to the hawk. It filled him with a little bit of satisfaction as he saw the fear on the other one’s face, in his posture and the way he uttered his thoughts.
“So? The door was open? And this automatically gives you the authority to intrude my home?” The redhead wondered at the same time why the front door was open in the first place … but this ask will get an answer at a later time. Now he had to deal with the foolish Takao Kazunari.
Takassin's Creed: Our love is made by the death of others

The smirk on Takao’s face only grew, cracking his knuckles. “They were a threat. Not a great one but they could have endangered my marvellous plans.” The assassin spoke carefully and thought about each of his words, how reckless and thoughtless they might’ve sounded.
Chuckling, he threw his hood off his head to reveal his full face. “I know how an assassin has to behave, my dear Akashi Seijuro,” he spoke this name with all the mockery he could get into his voice, “but I thought this was a special occasion. I mean, after all the last time that passed since we saw each other in Japan we now meet here in Italy. I knew templars were cowards all along, but that they run that far because of an assassin – ah, that really is spectacular indeed. Or are you the only one doing that? Are you the disappointment among them?”
Behind all that mockery, Takao Kazunari was actually concerned. He knew that Akashi was skilled and he had heard those legend that loomed around his special abilities. There still was the tiny chance of him losing that fight that lasted across the whole world and began with one simple assassination which soon turned out to be more than just that.
He unsheathed the sword that was dangling of the belt around his waist and threw it to the templar’s feet, before also unsheathing the one that was strapped to his back. “What a nice enemy I am, eh? Offering you a fair fight instead of just slaying you like a dirty mongrel,” Takao said, weighing the sharp blade in his hands and waiting for his opponent to pick up his weapon.
Akashi focused his mismatched eyes onto the face of the assassin, inhaling sharply as he recognized those familiar blue irises. Those icy blue hues belonged to the one that had the blood of his parents on both of his hands and the emperor swore to paint his own hands blood red with the murderer’s blood running through his veins.
“Watch your tongue, assassin. You will regret your choice of words.” Seijuro rose his chin up and tried to make himself taller than he is to overshadow the slight feeling of fear deep inside his heart. This fight could be dangerous and may end his life. Of course, the redhead had no intention of failing today but he saw how the other one dealt with his guards. There was no guarantee that the black haired male would fight fair. In fact, he should prepare himself and never let his attention slip away. Assassins never fought fair and knew dirty tricks.
After all this time, Akashi would use his Emperor Eye again. Safe was safe after all.
With his eyes still directed in his enemy’s direction, Akashi bent down and took the sword, ready to jump back and use one of his martial arts kicks if the other one tried to do anything stupid. “Nice enemy? Fair fight? We will see what ‘fair’ means to you.”
The redhead lifted the blade to his face, quickly moving his thumb over the sharp edge to check how much damage he might cause. The expression of a mild surprise went quickly over his features. The blade is indeed sharp. “I will take immense pleasure in killing you and avenging my parents and then sending your limbs one by one back to Japan.” Akashi held up the blade and pointed its tip into the direction of the hawk. “Any last words?”

“K-Kazunari … I think … I n-need an … ambulance.”
“Sei-chan!” The hawk called out and immediately hurried over to Akashi, crouching down next to him. His eyes were wide with worry and shock. He had just turned around for a second, so he barely got to see anything from the incident. “What happened?!” There was blood everywhere. That looked like too much blood for that short amount of time. “Hold on. Don’t pass out!”
“... It is only ketchup. I fooled you.”

“Tch. Don’t lie.” He pursed his lips, but then grinned smugly. “You missed me. I mean, how can you not? Look at me.”
“I am looking at you.” He still did not miss him.
