It isn't our responsibility to heal everyone or fix everyone @donniesexceptionalmind . It isn't our responsibility to make everyone feel comfortable and good.
We do not exist to serve and please others.
It wasn't our fault we were abused. It wasn't our fault. It wasn't our fault.
We were never responsible for their harmful actions, and we will never be.
We are allowed to let go of the hope, that they will change. We are allowed to distance ourselves to heal. We are allowed to never want to go back or never have a "last talk". We are allowed to step back to save energy and protect ourselves. We are allowed to be shaken by their gaslighting, guilt-tripping and manipulation.
I am allowed to slow down. I am allowed to need a lot of time to figure out what I need to heal. I am allowed to be "broken". I am allowed to accept I am sick and disabled. I am allowed to ignore advice that is not suitable for me.
I am allowed to be in unconventional ways.
Stained glass is beautiful.
