Plenty of Fish Milestone: Online Dating Site is STACKED

I noticed something recently while looking at my Plenty of Fish online dating newsletters/emails. The website has now become the most popular free dating site on the Internet and is in fact much bigger than I ever expected.

Plenty of Fish is actually now bigger than all other free online dating sites combined. This is wonderful news for anyone who wants to try their hand at online dating because all of the best "talent" is becoming concentrated in one place on the web.

Many people have wondered what the "cycling" trick is in regards to online dating, especially on Plenty of Fish.

Plenty of Fish is of course the top online dating site in the 18-30 demographic and there are in fact a lot of hot women on the site. But there are also a lot of, well, not so appealing women on there as well.

These women are clever about hiding that fact, utilizing interesting camera angles such as ones that only show their face at an angle that it makes it hard to see what they truly look like, or only showing their, well, cleavage all up in the camera. What man can resist clicking on that? A man who probably just wasted a lot of time he could be using toward getting dates with women he's actually attracted to, that's who.

But the process of "cycling" for online dating on Plenty of Fish can cut through a lot of the junk out there. The idea is simple: learn how to spot which pictures are likely from a truly hot girl and which are the fakers.

Plenty of Fish Commercials Signify a Revolution

The recent Plenty of Fish commercials are a major breakthrough for online dating in my humble opinion, and could signify the beginning of a mainstream movement.

Online dating has been stereotyped as a niche thing for a long time, an idea that should only pop into your head if you're lonely and older, or perhaps divorced and desperate for a date.

But Plenty of Fish, my dear friends, is much different. The Plenty of Fish commercials have run during NBA and NFL games and they have reached the type of audience that is much more outgoing, young, and in a good position to where they could possibly pick and choose who they'd like to date online.

As a free site, Plenty of Fish is attracting all sorts of young professionals and people who simply want to get out there and date much but don't enjoy the bar scene. A friend of mine talks with women practically all the time via text and also on Plenty of Fish after having obtained their numbers through the site, and pretty much never goes without a date each week. 

While many of them are looking for long-term, stable relationships, a large percentage of others simply want to just have a little fun and meet new people.

Even smart girls like alpha males in the dating world

Recently, a girl I had been chatting with on Facebook caught me by surprise when she professed her love for alpha males in the dating world.

A smart girl, no less, an open-minded, creative, logical one I had discussed things like the overuse of war propaganda and also alternative cancer treatments and other outside-the-box subjects with.

She has always seemed more interested in the deep thinkers, the psychologist or philosopher types moreso than than the badasses, or wannabe badasses, tough guys, alpha males or what have you, when it comes to dating.

But the other day she posted a video from a gangster movie of the main character shown smashing up a few windows and cracking a few skulls and included a thoughtful note tacked on that explained why she was ultimately quite attracted to this fat, balding man with a bad temper, a fictional one at that. 

The thing about the alpha male persona and dating is that it is attractive because women crave security. Security is one of the most overlooked aspects of what you can bring to the table as a man, not necessarily just financially, that will bring lots and lots of high quality women into your world. 

The great author Ralph Wiley once described how crazy ole' Mike Tyson ended up with actress/model Robin Givens and how she must have felt like the most secure woman in the world at that point, walking around with the heavyweight champ of the world. 

Of course, that couldn't be farther from the truth because of all the shady characters Tyson attracted, not to mention Tyson's own attitude. But that illustrates a very real point: Women are drawn to men who they perceive as strong even if they know it's not good for them! EUREKA.

You absolutely have to project such an image as a man if you want a chance to be the guy she puts her trust in and makes her man. 

When it comes to online dating, that's much easier to pull off through a well-executed profile. The key is to show yourself as a protector-type, perhaps through pictures with you and other women or just pictures of you in various situations where you look like you're in control.

Whatever you do, you also need to show up as someone who has a certain level of indifference to their persona as well. You can't look like you're trying to hard when it comes to trying to give off that alpha male persona in online dating. So choose your pictures wisely and do your best to accentuate the features that will make you look like the kind of guy a woman can feel secure around.
