me being here every once and a while doesn’t mean i’m back, guys. i get the feeling you all missed me and i missed you too, but i have four other blogs that i feel way more confident on than this one. i’ll try to be back and do something, but conan’s very deep in hiding and it’s hard to feel confident in my portrayal lately.

Polka gnawed on her lip as she approached Conan, a hint of a blush already visible on her cheeks. Thunderstorms had been on the forecast all day, but she hadn't expected them to be so violent. She knew it was kind of silly to be scared of thunder - especially at her age - but she couldn't help it. Besides... she didn't look her age, so it was a little less embarrassing... right? Shaking off her nerves, she gently tugged at the boy's shirt, "C-Conan-kun? Can I... stay with you for a while?"

“Eh?” Feeling the tug, Conan glanced over his shoulder to find Polka glancing at him with noticeable unease. “I guess you could. I was on my way to Agasa-hakese’s house for curry, but I’m sure he wouldn’t mind an extra guest. Mmn, but why do you look so——?”
A sudden, sharp clap of thunder struck so suddenly above their head that even he flinched, eyes squeezing shut for a moment as his skull vibrated in his head. The rain hadn’t started yet, but the leaden thunderheads had already begun rolling in hours ago. It wouldn’t be long before the rain followed, but now he he was sure he knew why Polka was acting so strangely.
Deciding it was best not to ask, he took the girl’s hand and gave her a confident smile. “Let’s get going before it starts to rain.”

i don’t blame you for wanting your muse to adopt him. he’s a fictional character and i want to adopt him. the fandom’s been around for a while tho, nonnie. i was here for a year before another series grabbed me. but, nah, i’m not amazing. i can’t even keep up with this blog anymore. ; u ; but thank you.
Congrats! He's been ordered to prank a detective, and you are the lucky one chosen! Thus, all of the detective's clothes has been replaced by dresses! ( Luckily, Kid let the detective keep his underwear. )

Surprise, surprise. All of his nice shirt, vests, sweater and suits have been switched out for entirely too-short, frilly or flowery looking dresses. One thin brow twitched in aggravation. Was it even worth it to pretend he didn’t know who did this? There was only one person in existence that wanted to torment him this badly.
Deep breaths, Shinichi. Deep breaths.
“At least he didn’t touch my underwear,” he grumbled.
Actually, looking at the dresses now, some of them looked to be Ran’s style. Imagining her in them wasn’t hard, and suddenly the prank wasn’t as bad as it was seconds ago. He could wrap these up and offer them to her as gifts!

“Ne, Aoko-neechan?” His little voice barely rose above a small chatter as he licked and slurped at the ice cream she had bought him. Aoko was a sweet girl and he had grown to enjoy the time they spend together, but it was still surprising receiving text messages from her asking to hang out ( especially after the soda incident. )
So while he lazily ate away at his treat, he couldn’t help but wonder why.

He didn’t mind being alone, but it was a little lonely being in the Mouri’s apartment just before leaving for school. Ran had woke up late, and that meant no breakfast. She apologized, sure, but he couldn’t fill his stomach on that. Even Kogoro had rushed out, leaving him to nibble on a piece of toast while packing his bag.
A soft but subtle fluttering reached the boy’s ears, but he didn’t take his eyes away from his bag.
“I know I let you rest here before, but that doesn’t mean you can stop by whenever you want.”

Bag sagging on his shoulder and head tilting back with a can of iced coffee, Shinichi dragged himself through the front door of his dorm. He expected another elaborate and annoying prank, but was surprised ( and a little thrown off ) by the distinct lack of glitter and panties.
Although, now that he had pulled his can from his face, he was beginning to catch a whiff of something unpleasant. Nose wrinkling and wrist coming to cover his nose, Shinichi let out a disgusted grunt.
“What is that smell? Kuroba! Are you here?”

Another tally to the scoreboard of his victories, another well-devised strategy between himself and his faithful companions. Still, there’s some semblance of honor and humility that keeps his true colors reigned in as he politely accepts his spoils from the opposing trainer and makes a beeline away from them, bike in tow.
A mile and a half or so later, Heiji points the Premier Ball in front of him, releasing his green and cream-colored gargantuan of an Aggron from her confinements.
It’s with a hooting cheer that he leaps forward to give her mossy horns a rigorous massage. The Pokémon catches her trainer with ease, but it’s difficult to avoid his contagious delight.
“Who’s th’ greatest Aggron in existence, huh?! Who tanks those hits like they’re nothin? That’s right, Hayama, ya’re th’ one diamond in th’ rough, yes ya are!!”
“Gongyaa~!”
It had taken him a bit of effort keeping up, but he had successfully tailed the trainer and ducked behind a bush in time to watch him celebrate with his companion. Chest swelling with admiration and lips pulling in a wide grin, the flushed boy wondered what it must be like to feel that proud. He was still too young to battle himself, but knowing that he’d be free to so as he pleased in less than a month thrilled the small boy.
He knew he wouldn’t be quite as good as Heiji, but that didn’t wane at his boyish delight when he watched the older trainer praise and rub at the hulking Pokémon in front of him.
A small, bubbling giggle escaped him, both hands coming to clap over his mouth just in case the other heard. He wasn’t really supposed to be this far away from home, but he didn’t care.

“Hold on! Let me get to 300 kick-ups and then I’ll pass it!”
Oof. Stopped short by a child giving her a hug–
Which only made her light up again, resisting the urge to squeeze him and hold him close instead of getting the juice he requested. But she had to, as a Aoko-neechan promise, so she parted with a smile before retrieving some orange juice for him.

Crouching to his level this time, she passes him the fresh orange juice with a smaller smile.
There may have been the faintest hint of pink in his cheeks when she admitted to missing him, eyes shifting away from the adorable brunette when she matched his height. Little hands grabbed at the glass, sweet juice meeting his lips immediately.
“I missed you, too...” He muttered sheepishly.
