PERMISSION TO SEEK PEACE
This is why people have puppies:
To have access to play again
To have access to love
that will ask nothing of you
but loving and loving and loving
This is why people look upwards:
To see underneath of things
The silver of leaves
where they’re pressed to the moon
Or still stretching and reaching and touching
This is why people have puppies:
To splash in the streams again
To be taken to nature
And have to just wait there
for an obstinate dog to give in
This is why I’m looking upwards:
Do I need a good reason to fall
into the gravity
of unearthly beauty
seen by ancients, their puppies and all?

Has this been done yet?
Big oof.
"You are kind. You are always so kind and I wish I never take that for granted. I hope I will always remember what an amazing gift it is, how rare. I wrap it around myself, snuggle in it and hold it close. It makes me glow, that warmth that from your heart always flows, that amazing capacity for being sunshine wherever you go."

Musician
Waves flow through me with static on the radio and echos of a voice that doesn’t vibrate like me I’m pulsing electric blue one line on an endless loop where I sleep amongst the songbirds melodic and sweet I remain unseen croning a sonnet to find me there in the crackle and the pop where watered down sentiments drip from my fingertips like acid rain and in my mind I sit on a throne made of strings and keys the crowd crisp when they finally hear the real me
A parade of dusty hand-printed window panes damp teabags in the kettle and tea stains in my cup The brisk air once perfumed with whispering coats in a hustle, weak tobacco and automobile fumes are all but deceased
The birds now step on the pavement without use of their wings stray felines prance and dance in unison with the swirling leaves the winds breathe deeply for the first time in decades without smog choking their lungs - a quiet world
For while the humans hide away the Earth lives to grant us another day - Karen Isabella Prompt: @writerscreed
@ everyone reading this: i hope with all my heart that you heal from whatever is causing you pain right now
