so many brain worms thinking about an imogen corruption arc and what that would mean for laudna. who sees herself as imogen’s protector, who for the past two years has defined herself in reference to their relationship. who is so attached to the idea of imogen as beautiful, and talented, but above all good and kind - and she is those things to laudna, has been, was the first person in three decades to offer that. I think laudna is much more attached to the idea of imogen’s goodness than imogen herself is - after all, whose hand goes up first when ashton asks who might turn on them? they both put each other on such high pedestals, and god I need to see what happens when laudna’s forced to reckon with an imogen who isn’t good or kind
