When I went through different bojere moments in my mind, I realised that they don’t have a lot of angsty moments. Or at least not many obvious kind of angsty moments. You asked for one, I’m giving you more because that’s how we work in this house.
1. In the end, my number one has to be this
Yes, this moment is soft but it’s also oh so angsty. It’s Jere being sad over losing and he clings to Bojan as the one thing that keeps him afloat. Just look at Jere’s expression, it’s filled with sadness, but Bojan is his rock here, holding Jere tightly but tenderly, even when he’s battling with his own sadness.
Bojan once said that he was sadder about Jere’s second place than JO finishing 21st.
This photo also symbolises that they have to say goodbye soon. While they’d formed a strong bond, they’d only known each other for about a month. They live on the opposite sides of Europe and had super busy schedules ahead. In one interview, Jere said that after the final, one of the reasons he cried in the bathroom was because he didn’t know when he’d see Bojan again. They must have felt very unsure about everything.
So yeah, this moment is peak bojere angst for me 💔

2. The Bojan beer picture
Jere is holding ”Bojan” tenderly against his cheek. His expression is a mixture of deep caring, sadness and wistfulness. This was around the time when Bojan was presumably struggling a bit, had had his panic attack and deleted his ig. And I’m sure they were missing each other like crazy. This photo is to me a sweet way of publically saying ”I’m here for you. I know things are tough, but always know that I support you and I’m here.”

hi all, if you have a minute, i'd like to bring your attention to an issue close to my heart.
my sibling's close friend, chantal anicoche, has been detained in abra de ilog in mindoro, philippines, after being separated from her fellow researchers following the bombing and aerial attacks conducted by the armed forces of the philippines (afp) in the area. the communities living in abra de ilog are mainly farmer and indigenous communities. three children and one adult perished in this attack, and chantal went missing in the chaos. chantal is a beloved member of the filipino-american community in maryland. she has touched so many lives positively here; her impact cannot be overstated.
after she was initially reported missing on 1/1, she was surfaced yesterday (1/8) by the afp, who still have custody of her as of writing this. given chantal's outspoken indigenous activism and community organization here in the states, and her continued activism in the philippines, there are fears regarding her continued safety in the custody of the afp. (instagram post about her surfacing)
there are people in mindoro ready to receive her upon her release, but first, we need to make that happen.
please sign this petition to help us in efforts to bring chantal home. though i do not know her well personally, my sibling and cousin who are friends with her have been working tirelessly to return her to her family. please show them that there are eyes on chantal's situation, as well as eyes on the horrific bombing and deaths that happened in mindoro.

The 2025 Battle will feature 64 Bojere moments competing for victory. It starts with traditional 1 v 1 polls, but this time with a little twist. Meaning that if your favourite is eliminated too early in the Battle, all hope might not be lost just yet...

Mystery Round??: 17.1. and 18.1.
Round 4: 20.1.
