Iroh shook his head. "there is only one option." Zuko could feel the sweat drops glide down his back, despite feeling icy cold; they couldn't just ship him off to the South pole without any objections, right? "U-uncle..." Iroh shook his head, defeat written in his features. "I am sorry, nephew, I have tried to negotiate otherwise. I'm afraid I have no other choice. You will be married to the daughter of the Southern Water Tribe Chief."

Katara shook her head slowly, trying to comprehend her dream- vision? "I had a really strange dream-" "I know, I had it too, I was there," Aang explained, eyes wide. "I saw the spirits, Katara. They were talking to you, and you were crying. Yue was there, holding your hands." Katara felt the hairs on her neck rise. "So it wasn't a normal dream?" Aang shook his head. Ï don't think so. What were the spirits saying that got you so upset?" Katara gulped and stared into the soft glow of the smoldering logs. Softly she recited: "Unify water and fire. Bring balance. You are the key. Yue said I have my part to play."

The ramp lowered, and Iroh and Zuko stepped off the ramp onto the snowy pier. He looked at the people clustered at the beginning of the pier; a stocky, older man, flanked by a lankier young man and a fierce looking young woman. His fiancee, no doubt. She had piercing blue eyes; for some reason they looked hauntingly familiar. Like the blue sky over ember island, he thought.
