Would yall call me crazy into thinking that the only reason why people even ship zutara is because 1 they're both conveniently attractive and 2 they fitted in alot of tropes such as the good girl and bad boy aswell as the fire and water/opposite attracts type.
I really wish I could find the original post but this screenshot from insta will have to do.
Zuko makes Katara completely central to the narrative and the most significant thing in his world in a way that other characters had not.
It's not looks, bad boy, fire water trope that ends up being the biggest draw. Welch wrote one of the greatest significance fantasies we've seen and we all fell for it hook line and sinker.
