So many things happening, I can't help but feel bad for all the tragedies in this world. 😞

The year is about to be finished again and I can’t help but ask myself what I have done to make my life better. Seeing my colleagues prepare for their exit was somehow a wake up call for me. I mean for the past months I haven’t processed a single application or at least reviewed for my exam! I like having fun and getting away from stress but these past months, I was not able to balance my time. I guess I would need to remind myself everyday that 6 months from now, I will be back in the Philippines and at that time I will be processing my papers for a country I want to live in. Yes, I have to believe in that because it’s the only thing that keeps me going! I will be in a good company and maybe I will start falling in love with my profession again.

I will be going somewhere after I end my contract and I am gonna make sure that this time it will be somewhere I want to live in.

No matter how good you are, people will always have something to say against you.

I am really amazed by the effect of social media nowadays. I have been joining forums regarding financial freedom and investing and I have also stalked some company executives, traders and financial gurus for the past year. I can say that they have greatly affected me in a positive way because now I have somehow learned the basics when it comes to managing my finances. They made me realize the value of knowing what’s happening around me like for the stock market. Back when I was still younger, I really didn't mind news regarding companies unless they are releasing their newest model of their phone but now I usually watch news to know more about the latest project of these companies and how they are doing as a whole.

When I started investing, somebody told me to hold my investments because I need to educate myself first. I did educate myself but then the more I learned, the more scared I got so instead of doing my original plan I ended up giving little only. After almost 2 years, I do have some regrets that is investing little amounts of money only since I started when the stock market was just about to rise and still happy because I learned and now I know what companies to look for.

"If it's meant to be then it will be." I guess I'll just give it all up to fate. Whatever happens, I know it will be for a good reason. I will just try to do my very best and hope to God that everything will be fine.

I never thought learning on your own could be this hard until now but I have to do this because it is the only way I know that I will pass without spending much. Don't get me wrong, I am not as brainy as others who ace exams even without reviewing. I just insist on doing this because I know this kind of set up will force me to read and understand the lesson. This will also determine if I will be able to cope up with the struggles of studying while working in a foreign land. It is already expensive going abroad, I really cannot afford to fail once I will start this. I hope everything goes well for me so that I may be able to give back to my parents and let them see that I was worth their sacrifices.
