Drawing from the spay-neuter series for STREET PUSSY to raise awareness (and money) for the street cats of Vis island, in Croatia. There’s no vet there, so people kill cats in all kinds of inhumane ways to keep the cat population manageable.
There’s no vet on the island of Vis, in Croatia, and the cat population is out of control. People take matters into their own hands, which means poisoning, drowning, abandonment...
Whatever spaying and neutering that gets done is thanks to the efforts (and money) of compassionate individuals. To spay one street cat, for example, involves a trip to the mainland, which eats up the better part of a day and costs around 80 euros (90-some dollars).
I’m trying to raise money to finance more trips to the vet. If you want to help, go to http://little-shiva.myshopify.com. Whatever I sell there is for the cause.

Existential dilemmas . . . How does a designer, illustrator, artist or any other maker get passionate about SELLING when they really don't believe anyone needs any more STUFF? Ok, sure, you can sell experiences, but usually somewhere along the line in the biz of art, a tangible physical THING is created, and the process of any one thing making it to the top where it can be found and bought is overwhelming.
