She enjoyed the affection she was getting, nuzzling her back. “We’re birthday twins?! No way! And we’re getting married soon! Why didn’t you tell me earlier?!”
Kay hummed happily as she jumped a little in excitement. “Well I thought I’d surprise you even more, hehe!~”
Cue a certain thief sneaking up on her fiancee with a smile, before jumping on her back and kissing her neck. "I heard it's a certain scientific investigator's birthday soon~! And your gifts come early, it's your loving wife-to-be~!" She chimes, before nuzzling against her.
“Ahh!” Surprised by her fiancee’s attack, the scientist stumbled a little before giggling and turning her head to kiss her lips. Her hands were holding her legs so that she wouldn’t fall off. “Oh, that’s right! I have the best gifts ever, then! When’s your birthday… honey?” she cooed teasingly.
Kay giggled a little as she returned the kiss eagerly, her arms wrapping around her neck so she was comfy. “Haha, I obviously have other things to give you, but they can wait~! My birthday’s on the 24th, why d’you ask, oh darling fiancee~?”

“Eek!” She pouts at the bonk and folds her arms, sticking her tongue out at the detective.

Sighing at her words, he simply nods, but he clearly can’t seem to let it go. ❝ I know a losing battle when I see one, however, I do feel more at ease now, so thank you. I apologize for being so overprotective. ❞
Emerald hues glanced over at the prosecutor as she heard him apologize for his overbearing attitude. She didn’t really mind, she just often jabbed at it when she could. “It’s alright, Mr. Edgeworth. You kinda suit the overbearing type… it’s like you’ve sorta been hinting at, you’ve been around ‘that man’ too much! …Is he your boyfriend or something?”
He parts his lips to make a retort when she brings ‘that man’ up–Wright, rather, though she doesn’t know who he refers to each time. Still, her assumption isn’t far from the truth, if at all. His cheeks immediately color, matching his jacket. ❝ I-I beg your pardon?! What in God’s name brought you to that conclusion? ❞ He stammers in his embarrassment, giving himself away.
The ‘Great Thief’ just began giggling when she witnessed the prosecutor’s reaction to her assumption. Even him stumbling through his denial was proof that she was right to assume their relationship was simply more than friends. Lovers and Rivals? Now that’s cute. “Awhhh, so he is your boyfriend! I wanna meet him~!”

At the doubt about Mr. Wright, he snorts. ❝ Are you kidding? That’s what Mr. Wright was famous for. That, and his bluffing. Huh, who would’ve thought those two were literally the same person. Does Mr. Edgeworth bluff too? God, please tell me does. ❞
“Yup! He’s presented everything he has on him to every single person. Even his prosecutor’s badge!” Kay began giggling herself when she heard that his own boss also bluffed and she shook her head slightly.
“The two ‘greatest’ attorneys... bluff and present their badges like children. Are they twins or something!?”
