Now, i wont comment on these points about his parenting, but what this is saying about him being a coloniser is straight up factually incorrect. This isnt hate directed towards to creator of this post, this is just my personal debunking!

Is what i would say if i was uneducated ash 💔 i cannot believe a post about the ninjago lore knows so little about the ninjago lore, but I will lay this down anyways
They defeated wojira with the help of the fsm, not the other way around 😭.
The warrior who defeated wojira was not the first spinjitzu master, it was a MERLOPIAN warrior called Nyad. And they (the merlopians) regard her as hero for, you guessed it, DEFEATING WOJIRA. Not to mention, wojira was not their goddess. She engulfed their world in chaos and was disrupting the lives of ther merlopians. Don’t believe me? Lets take a look at what the transcript of the episode talking about this event says. (Taken directly from benthomaar (A MERLOPIANS) dialogue from “the master of water”)
“Long before time had a name, the first spinjitzu master, a mere child, arrived in our world, to find a world engulfed in chaos. This chaos was caused by wojira”
Does that sound like their “goddess” to you..? 😭 if they worshipped her, they wouldn’t confront her. There is absolutely no implications of force or anything of the sort when benthomaar says that “with the help of the islanders, and the merlopians, they confronted wojira.” If she was a figure that was important to them outside of being a threat, they would’ve put up a fight and n would not have WILLINGFULLY chose to confront her. Yes, the first spinjitzu master was powerful, but he was also a child and the entire combined force of all of the merlopians at that time could have definitely overpowered him if he tried to force them to fight wojira. Because he was a child and it would be like a 1,000 V 1. He wasnt THAT powerful yet be patient 😭
Also if he was trying to discredit their accomplishments, he wouldve taken the sea and storm amulets for himself. And claimed that he earned them. But he didn’t. Because that’s not what he strives to do at all. also it’s mentioned in this text that he left out the merlopians. this is not true. What actually happened Is that whenever we hear the story about how Ninjago was created, it simply just jumps to a certain point in time. “he created the land mass of Ninjago with the four weapons of Spinjitzu.” Is not an untrue statement. And if you genuinely think that starting your story at a certain point in time is lying or racists, then wouldn’t him not mentioning the oni or the dragon in the story that we first hear about Ninjago‘s creation be racism against he oni and dragons? no it would not be because that’s not what this is. It’s the story that we’re told just starts at a specific “plot” point. Also, when we first hear about this story THE WRITERS HADNT EVEN THOUGHT OF THIS YET 😭 there are also other reasons that he might not want to speak about the merlopians such as, for example, trauma but I’m not going to get into that. He also had little reasons to speak about them. the merlopians were doing their own thing, and the land dwellers were doing their own thing. their worlds were not really intercepting much after the wojira thing there wasn’t much reason for him to speak about them. he probably SHOULD have but that’s more so a character flaw with him just not telling people things, NOT colonisation. (Ok i feel like i worded this weirdly so let me add: it would be different if let’s say he told the whole story like with his birth and the oni and dragon and everything before creating a landmass of Ninjago and then conveniently forgot to leave in the merlopians or alternatively if he said that he defeated wojira himself. he he didn’t he doesn’t mention anything PERIOD Before the point of creating the land mass of Ninjago. And the merlopians and wojira just happen to be one of the things that happens before the island of Ninjago was created so naturally it’s not going to be put in because that’s just something that happens before the point in time that the story starts.)
My final point in the part abt wojira is that there is no actual evidence that the existence of the landmass that is Ninjago actually harms or impede some merlopians way of life. the one character that we see (not counting the characters that he caused to hate humans), loathing the land dwellers is racist. not even even towards just humans but also to other merlopians. it’s the entire reason he dislikes bentho besides him being adopted, but if we look at not only the good guy in the story, bento, but also the literal leader of the merlopians, trimaar, then you would learn that they are on the human’s side. Why? the humans and in turn the first spinjitzu master have not done anything to them. If anything, fsm helped them historically, because again, wojira was causing chaos that he helped stop.
I guess pollution counts but if we’re talking about the first spinjitzu master, he predates pollution, so thats not a valid point either.
I’d like to also bring up something about this story.
A mere child. A MERE CHILD. CHILDDD. This text is accusing a war weary CHILD of having the same evil, calculated plans that COLONISERS have.

He did not “create more land.”
He split his island in half and made the second half really small. Im too lazy to type much more but this is blatantly stated in season two. Sorry im lazy but i hope this is understandable. 😭
