Oh my goodness, it's so good to see you back! Could I possibly ask for the Nordics' favourite desserts if you haven't done that already?

Of course! I think your blog is so nice btw ❤

Sweden: Mr. Sweden is big on anything with berries. Most likely due to Swedes loving their wild berries so much. So if he is reaching for something it is likely a berry dessert such as pie or cobbler. He especially likes Blueberries, not that it reminds him of his flag or anything 😏

Finland: Finny here just loves sweets. Pretty much anything you can think, he'd go for it. He loves to bake, but the number one thing he tends to bake the most would have to be cookies. There is just something about cookies that makes mama Fin happy. But no sad tiny ones, these things are BIG and gooey. Oh he knows exactly what he's doing 🤤

Iceland: Ice feels that sweets are for babies and would NEVER want to mistaken for a little child. Only children are interested in candy and sweet things. So his favorite thing is salty licorice or Lakkrís in his home. And hey, it is something that many European countries have and enjoy! So Icey is good with it.

*cough* He eats tons of ice cream when no ones around *cough*

Norway: Norge enjoys salty things as well, but he is not afraid to show that he does enjoy sweet things. He has a soft spot (not to mention he could get quite soft) for butter cookies. A wonderful combo with coffee and for some reason when he is in the same room as them, he just can't seem to resist. So he has to use self control or else....

Denmark: Shock, utter shock. The Dane loves everything. Ice cream, cookies, pie, cake. He's about it. It's like a giant Danish man in a candy shop when it comes to desserts. If left to his own devices, he'd probably bring home mostly desserts. Or get ingredients and ask Norge to make the thing for him. He knowing Norge knows how to cook and bake, and that for some reason he sometimes can't say no to the Dane. ::sigh:: Really Den, REALLY??? 😅

Hello Everyone! I can't believe it is summer already and the 4th of July too! I hope all have been doing well despite the COVID 19 Pandemic and all going on.

I know it has been a hot minute since I have been on here, and I was looking through seeing everything that has been done. I guess what I am asking is, is anyone still interested in me keeping this blog active or at least attempting to? I enjoyed it, but I wanted to see how you all felt. Just drop me an ask or message and let me know!

How would the Nordics act if they so one of their close friends be head over heels for one of the other Nordics but didn't know how to act on it or were really insecure like "they're so great they're too good for me" or something?

This is a fun one!

Sweden: Sve would be one that this subject would be hard to do. I mean let’s face it, Sve’s way of getting someone’s attention is to stare at them and then he scares the person half to death/or the person will think he wants to kill them. That being said, he would do his best to try to advise about the brother the friend was interested in.

Finland: Finny would be ecstatic! He would comfort his friend and encourage them, followed by telling them the brothers likes and dislikes, all to help them achieve their goal and hope that they will be happy.

Norway: Norge would be wondering why they were interested and then not see much of the sense of it. Either way he would be more likely to point out the flaws and what they don’t like more simply because that is how Nor rolls. Also adding in, the fact that they aren’t good enough for them.

Iceland: Icey would get all embarrassed and confused. Telling them they were on their own. Too much of an awkward question for poor Ice to answer...

Denmark: Den would be really supportive and ironically level headed. Telling them that any of the would be lucky to have them and that he would wish them the best. He would go about saying the good and bad hings to give his friend a fair chance. Nice actually.

For Norway and Iceland could you give headcanons for an s/o who when working on their job becomes extremely focused and doesn’t want anyone to interact with them till it’s done.

Norway: Norge can understand needing to focus. There is no such thing as giving equal attention to two things in his book. So he would allow them to do whatever they had to do in peace until he was called upon of course. Though the Norwegian would check.... REGULARLY to see if they were done. Let’s face it, though he seems coo as a cucumber on the outside, Nor really does love those he gets attached to. So having time together is very important.

Iceland: If anyone gets personal space and uninterrupted time, it would be Icey. He would totally respect it and back off. Probably feeling bad because he wished he could help, and much like his brother hope that they got done. Just because he understands, doesn't mean that he doesn’t miss them while they are gone and off in their own world. So needless to say he enjpys it greatly when they are done and he can resume being with them.

Yes!! Me too, I am glad to be back!! :)

Sweden: Sve is the kind that if he really wants to show that he cares for his S/O, he would literally build them something. He would likely make something small like a jewelry box or something like that. He being one that is good and has an eye for that sort of thing.

Finland: Baking! Fin is wonderful at it, and his baking leaves many wanting more. He would make something cute and more on the time consuming side. Something he didn’t make often that took time and much effort all to show his S/O how he felt.

Iceland: Icey is not the greatest at romantic gestures, mostly because he can get kinda embarrassed doing so. But he would likely write for his S/O. Probably a poem he jotted down whilst thinking of them on a napkin. Ice isn’t one for super grand gestures, but rather things of the heart, such as writing, is how he show affection.

Norway: Norge would cook a full scale meal for his S/O. He is a good cook and if he loves/knows it will be appreciated, he gets out his apron and goes to town. Candle lit and wine, pretty much the whole 9 yards.

Denmark: Though it may seem Den is a bit dense and a smidge pervy at times, the guy is really sweet and has a lot of soul. He would make something, even as simple as sandwiches or something because he isn’t as talented as Nor or Fin in that department, but he would then take them to a place to watch the sunset. Just him, his S/O and the stars. All cuddled up in a blanket. Uninterrupted, quality time.
