Normalize letting people stutter or stumble over their words without making fun of them during an argument. Just because they arent talking clearly doesn't mean they don't have a good point or comeback, or that they're not sure of what they wanna say. Arguments can sometimes be high stress situations and everyone's brain is reacting faster than their mouth. It doesn't make them less intelligent or worthy of having an opinion. As someone who does stumble over their words during arguments and has gotten made fun of for it and/or immediately shut down, it's very fucking frustrating and annoying.

I know everyone is trying to make their point known and they wanna be proven theyre right in an argument, but if you can manage to muster just a little bit of patience for the stumbly person in the middle of it that would be awesome, thank you.

One of my friends feelings about me got messed with by my family bc they thought I liked him, and apparently he liked me(??? But we're chill now dw abt us) and new years eve is when he found out I was aroace (I told him myself, but ALSO my parents told him I was aroace apparently) so finding out I was aroace pissed him off! Not at me and not at me being aroace I was fine, but at my parents who told him I liked him and them knowing i was aroace. I was pissed too ofc bc WHAT THE HELL.

I talked to my mom about it, and told her it felt like she didnt even fucking believe me when I said I was aroace. She said she did but that maybe I liked him. B U L L S H I T.

We're both going insane about this for another 15 minutes, he's mad that they lied to him about me, and I'm mad that they messed with him like that.

Come the morning where me and my parents are getting ready to leave their house, and me and bro are trying to talk about it. And apparently my dad was in on it and what he said about it was:
