Should I engage in The Vampire Diaries fandom if I do not care who between the characters is morally better or worse?
They are all supernatural creatures who killed people, realistically speaking
I'm here to enjoy the early two thousands trashy vibes, the magic subplots, the characters writing, and yes the love triangle for once, will I be welcome or will people be too dense?
(clarification, I'm late to the party, watching the series, half season 2)

I've rewatched Twilight... for... reasons (showing this iconic trash masterpiece to my bf)
And one thing I can admire Bella for is how quickly she asks questions about the Cullens, and how quickly she discovers they are vampires.
Like, that girl saw their weirdness and went "yeah, there must be something supernatural about this, I'm open to the idea... this guy is pale and cold and strong, now I believe vampires exist".
I'm now watching The Vampire Diaries for funsies for the first time while I clean, and I want to know how fast Elena is going to discover about vampires, too 🤣

Is it true that Gene Luen Yang, the primary writer of Atla's comics, does in fact ship Zutara?
I don't know where I got it from.
Cause if this is the case, I can actually start loving the comics as the sabotage of the original material and in particular of the main canon ships... cause let's be clear they are written horribly.
I liked Zukka in theory (I'll die as Zutarian tho), but I have a feeling that most of its stannies are giving "I'm not like the other girls" vibes.
And that icks me enough to start disliking the ship.

Do we realize that if Kiara wasn't that stupid to shout "murderer" at Ward after Gavin's homicide, obx season 2 could have been prevented ENTIRELY right? It's her fault ONLY. Don't even try to argue. It was STUPID.
So... I've just rewatched the midsummers episode in obx and the one after that... and... Kiara could have prevented foster care for John B all along. Like seriously, I'm not talking about adopting or paying a lot of money, but I'm sure her parents could've somehow been his guardians or some shit.
If she only was a bit more responsible and grateful towards her parents, the Pogues could have hanged out at the restaurant more often... knowing Pope and John B and even JJ, they could have helped out even... they could have earned her parents' respect and John B could have been saved much sooner.
HEAR ME OUT, he could have been a waiter for her parents... boom, he has a job... a lot of summer restaurants also offer accommodation to the seasonals, so he could have had a place to stay... problem fucking solved.
Kiara is so butthurt that Sarah did it... but here's the thing... SARAH is the one who immediately takes advantage of her richness to help the Pogues, not Kiara.
Why couldn't Kiara be a poor girl, an actual Pogue? Why couldn't they have a token male Kook friend? They kinda need one for plot purposes, but why the girl? Idk, a real Pogue girl would not have been so realistically pretty and put together? I've known real Pogue hippy girls while traveling, I guess one of those would have been too much power to handle, so instead we got a spoiled little Kook pretending to be poor...
... it's also kinda misogynistic to think that a girl could not survive in the wild like the boys did...
Sooo... I've finally rewatched "The host" after reading the book...
And... I understand even less how do people even like Ian from there.
He's like: I'm gonna murder you... then stare intensely at you for like 5 minutes of screen time while you give silent treatment to everyone, then I'm in love with you. I deliver a couple of quotes that feel deep just because they're coming out of the book without context. We speak like 5 times in the entire movie. Yes, I love you and I'm jealous. Screw Melanie btw, that's book accurate.
