The Rope of Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) is the Holy Quran
If you go to the seaside, you cannot help noticing that although the water level constantly rises and falls, it never exceeds a certain level. Should it ever cross the level, it would cause tremendous damage to both life and property because two-thirds of the earth comprises of water. It is only the great might and power of Allaah that stems the rise of the ocean’s.
The whole of your aspiration and endeavor must not be for simple things like eating, drinking, clothing and marriage. That is because these are not the goal, but only the means by which to arrive at the goal.
When God chooses to bring forth some unknown virtue He does so through the tongues of the envious For if fire burnt not all around it The Aloe's fragrance would have remained masked.
O Allah! You are my Cherisher. There is no deity except You. You have created me and l am Your servant and as far as possible, I abide by my solemn promise and covenant (which I made to You). I seek Your protection against the consequences of my wrong doings. I fully acknowledge the grace You have bestowed upon me and I confess my faults. So, pardon me as none besides You can pardon sins.
The miracle of the birth of Jesus was not one to challenge the mistaken beliefs of a particular people. Rather, its purpose was to stand as a testimony to Allah's infinite might. Another miracle, the purpose of which was not to challenge but to show Allah's incomparable power and control over the laws of nature, was His parting of the Red Sea for Moses. The followers of Moses had been trapped between the soldiers of Pharaoh and the sea and were facing certain destruction. But at this moment, when all-natural indications pointed to their inevitable doom, Moses still maintained his faith in Allah's power to intervene. Praying for divine intervention, he then faced his followers and urged them not to despair or lose faith in Allah's providence saying:
"Nay, verily! For lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me." (al-Shu'ara' 26:62)
With this appeal, Moses actually surrendered the whole affair to Allah's supreme will. This was at a moment when human efforts to avoid annihilation was useless. Answering his appeal, Allah inspired him to strike the water with his staff:
"Smite the sea with your staff. And it parted . . " (al-Shu'ara' 26:63)
This miracle defies all the known laws of physics which govern liquids. The sea's parting by Moses' smiting of its surface cannot be explained in terms of physics. The only possible explanation for this miracle is in terms of the absolute power of the Almighty, Who can simply "say unto a thing 'Be', and it is".
Ultimately, mercy means giving and bestowing to fulfill other’s need.
The first step in the journey towards God is abandonment of self-love and crushing the head of egoism under one's foot. To the extent that one succeeds in purging his or her heart of self-love, the love of God shall enter it to the same extent and it shall also be purified of latent shirk (egoism).

The rules, regulations and verdicts concerning women in Islam are clear, frank and open. Islam capitalizes on the complete care that should be given to the protection of a woman against anything that may harm her personally, or cause ill-fame to her reputation or character.
Sir Hamilton
I do not fear for you poverty. What I fear is that the world might be extended to you with all its affluence and luxury as it was to the people before you, and that you might then vie with one another for it as they did, and so be destroyed by it as they were.
Their similitude is that of a man Who kindled a fire; When it lighted all around him, God took away their light And left them in utter darkness. So, they could not see. Deaf dumb, and blind, They will not return (to the path). Or (another similitude) Is that of a rain-laden cloud From the sky: in it are zones Of darkness, and thunder and lightning: They press their fingers in their ears To keep out the stunning thunder—clap, The while they are in terror of death. But God is ever round The rejecters of Faith! The lightning all but snatches away Their sight; every time the light (Helps) them, they walk therein, And when the darkness grows on them, They stand still. And if God willed, He could take away Their faculty of hearing and seeing; For God hath power over all things
Rasulullaah (sallAllaahu-alayhi-wa-sallam) once asked Iblees, “How many people of my ummah do you love most?” Iblees replied that these were ten persons:
A tyrannical king.
A proud person.
The wealthy person who does not care how he earns his wealth and where he spends it.
The Aalim who assists an oppressive ruler.
A dishonest trader.
A person who hoards.
An Adulterer.
The usurer.
The miser who does not care where he gets the wealth to hoard.
The drunkard.
Do not accompany except the one who his condition reminds you of Allah, or his statements direct you to Allah. They are the righteous so accompany them. If you accompany them you will be successful by the permission of Allah. And if you abandon them you may become weak, and perhaps the people of evil and the devils will overpower you. We ask Allah for safety and security.
Likening the affairs of the Afterlife to the affairs of the present life is just a matter of approximation in order to make things easier for people to comprehend; otherwise, one atom from the Afterlife is better than the whole earth and many other similar earths added to it.
