An installation that I made and put up at Mengi in Reykjavik, one of my favorite venues in the city. These mobiles are made from drawings on shrinking plastic, antique prisms, glow in the dark stars and moons and all kinds of chain.
Painting “Boudoir Dreams” I recently made for a group show, “Le Boudoir-Dyngjan”. Curated by Claire Paugam at Alliance Francaise in Reykjavík, Iceland. February 2020.
In the web of a finger of the West Fjords, Iceland.
Susan Clarahan left our residency (In House Outer Space, Iceland) today after being with us for a month. Can’t wait to see what will appear on film from her vintage and antique cameras. It has been a pleasure to follow along on her “sparkle path”. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
BIO:
Susan Clarahan seeks a wild and feminine understanding of sensuality, intimacy, landscape, community, and beauty. Clarahan creates a sense of wonder at the natural world, using both performance and landscape to engage the senses and connect with nature. She lives in the Rocky Mountains.

This series of photographs builds a world in images that coalesces nature and bodies in a feminine exploration of sexuality, landscape, and ritual under waterfalls, wind and shimmering sunlight. Clad in sparkling, hand-stitched garments, performers engage in intimacies and invocations as they connect bodily with the wild landscape and each other. We are invited into moments unfolding off camera. 📷 zuzu_knew
