The dynamic of sastiel being fell first and fell harder means so much to me cause i imagine sam being the first one to fall in love with castiel (cough cough temporary one-sided love)
And castiel FINALLY realizing that sam has a crush on him and just falling face first onto the floor when he finds out he doesn’t know what to do with that information, but to try and court sam (without telling sam he knows he likes him.)
Like sam has been used to cas not noticing his affections or feelings, so imagine his reaction when he wakes up to a bouquet of flowers and chocolates at his doorstep.
Sam would pick the items up and ask dean if he was pranking him.
“Hey dude, did you leave these at my door?”
“No? Wait— where did you get those??”
Castiel watching tv nervously keeping his eyes on the screen while he listens to the whole conversation between the two brothers.
“Alright, well if this isn’t a prank i guess ill just leave them at the dining table.” Sam suggested, walking away not knowing what to do with the gifts he got and not knowing who he got it from.
Castiel sighing disappointed, dean turning to castiel in a hurry the moment sam was out of hearing range.
“Dude! Did you leave a note like i told you to do?!”
