The walking tree looked around briefly before noticing the girl, looking down at her curiously, "I am Groot?"
"A talking tree man?ā¦.Thatās super goddamn cool, the nameās Tani." She walks around the creature, and once she was in front of him. "Okay, this is going to sound really weird, but do things climb you?"

'Ugh, Groot said that yes, people do try to climb him, but I'm the only one who gets to do it frequently,' a voice offered, followed shortly by a raccoon in an orange jumpsuit climbing into view on Groot's shoulder, 'He also went on to say that I'm really only allowed up here because it offers a better vantage point and I'm less likely to accidentally shoot him.' the Raccoon nodded firmly as he finished speaking.
"I am Groot," Groot replied, nodding almost in synch with the raccoon.
'Yeah, I know, the lines were terrible and there's nothing good on the menus. I did manage to pick you up a couple a' logs for snacking later.'
"I am Groot!" the wooden face shifted into a happy smile at the news.
"I guess that makes more sense, she says to a tree and a raccoonā¦So I can hazard a guess at the big manās name so whats yours? And if you donāt tell I am going to call you adorable nicknames, like Scruffles andā¦Well thatās all I have so far, but when I come up with more it will be very annoying."
Tani watched the raccoon for a few minutes, just to get a good idea on how the creature. It wasnāt everyday that she ran into something like either of them, though still not her weirdest situation.Ā
