it’s so weirdly common to be rude to people who need subtitles or want subtitles as if it’s some kind of nuisance to have subtitles, but honestly? normalize having subtitles on everything. overall it can help people with language barriers who can read better than they can listen to a language, it helps people with comprehension issues, it helps people who have trouble hearing, it helps in general so whatever you’re watching isn’t interrupted by someone asking what someone just said, just put subtitles on! what the hell!

If you have depression or anxiety? you’re not tired for no reason.

You’re tired because you have depression/anxiety.

Not only do they both come with low energy/fatigue as a legit common side effect, but they’re both fucking /exhausting/. fighting your brain all the time? exhausting. adrenaline crashes from anxiety/panic attacks? exhausting. being on edge all the time? exhausting. plus doing things costs /more/ energy when you have those mental illnesses.

You’re not tired for no reason, you’re tied because you have an illness that makes you tired.

the kind of reason I hope they give for Danny lashing out at everyone: anger and frustration and exhaustion finally coming to a head after almost a year of fighting someone else's war and losing everything for a cause that turned out to be corrupt, for a girl who loves someone else. possibly with a side order of dean-induced mind games. (plus Danny never liked Carmilla anyway and now has a reason to be ~a bit annoyed~ with Laura)
