Disclaimer- This is just for fun because i love Teen wolf and this takes place after the show ends. This is technically an Au because Allison is alive in this and Isaac comes back from France. Malia also goes by they/them in this.
A couple of years after high school, somehow the whole Pack managed to survive. Their lives haven’t been easy or normal in fact it’s been pretty abnormal. Now that no one is out to get them, no dread doctors, no wild hunt, no Alpha packs and god knows what else they had to fight off. The Packs have settled down in different places, most of Scott’s pack is in Beacon hills which he enjoys. Derek and his pack well some stayed with Scott because overall they decided Scott was a better Alpha. The puppy pack is scattered a bit leaving just Liam and Theo in Beacon hills but they visit a bunch. That being most of them are all adults now and have Adult problems.
Derek Hale is a famous rockstar now: not by his own doing of course but the moment he stepped outside of his little bubble. Agents and Mangers couldn’t wait to get him on any stage they could, telling him that teenage girls would eat him up. His stage name is lone wolf and he’s been on tour for a month or so with Cora on the road with him. He left his loft to Theo and his auto repair shop to Malia because between touring and his Manager trying to get him to start up his acting career between Album releases he has no time to be in Beacon Hills. He loves being a solo artist his team has tried pushing into working with other musicians but what can he say he’s a Lone wolf.
Now on the other hand Scott McCall loves his little bubble in Beacon hills with his Band. They aren’t famous or anything hardly from it. It’s just him, his boyfriend Isaac, Liam, and Malia. It’s not Weird at all he’s in a band with his Ex in fact it makes them closer. Kira and Malia are Together Anyway so it’s not Weird and he absolutely loves his boyfriend Isaac.
A year after Isaac was in France with Chris he came back because he couldn’t stop thinking about Scott. He told Scott that after their first kiss. Scott didn’t even think Isaac liked him back then but it was Clear he did. They have been together for a year now their anniversary is actually coming up and it may or may not have slipped Scott’s mind.
Anyways the Band WolfsBane Chaos was started because Melissa bought Scott a bass guitar once he graduated highs school. He’s loved music since forever, he wrote a few songs his freshman year of high school just for fun but his acoustic guitar broke when he was at his dad’s house the summer before sophomore year and he never got the strings fixed. Once everything that happened with peter and the bite he just never picked up another guitar again. His mom knew about his love for music alongside His love for animals and being a veterinarian so when she had saved up enough she bought the bass for him.
Scott was playing on the acoustic guitar Stiles got him for his seventh birthday one time and Liam walked into his room. Liam didn’t know he was so good at playing the guitar and suggested that he pursue music. Scott told liam that his dream was to start a band but it would never happen.
Liam remembered Scott telling him his dream so he made it made it happen. Malia loved the idea when Liam told them about it. Isaac would do anything for Scott so he said hell yeah to Liam’s idea. Liam then came up with the name on his own and felt proud of himself.
They practiced at Malia’s house until Their dad complained About the noise. Then they all started practicing at Derek’s loft for the first year he was gone because no one was there. That was until Theo moved in and they thought theo was gonna be against them playing at the loft but he loved it. Turns out he loved it because he got the chance to watch Liam mostly. That turned into most of practice Theo and Liam staring at each other so Scott put his foot down and they stopped practicing at the loft Due to Distractions.
Their problem was solved when Isaac got his own Apartment. They couldn’t practice loudly or anything but it was a good place to hang out or for Scott and Malia to write the songs. They started performing the songs at a local Beacon hills bar on Saturdays. The bar would fill up with sometimes hundreds of people just to Watch the Band perform.
Tonight they had a show at 10:30 and Scott got a text from Allison and Lydia that they were coming down from New York to watch them Perform. Corey and Mason were also gonna come but Manson was Visiting family in Texas so they couldn’t come anymore but they promised to come to the next show.
Isaac watched carefully as Scott’s bare chest rose and fell again from his soft breathing in his sleep. Scott’s hair had grown out a lot and came down to his eyes. Isaac couldn’t say much because his hair was now also grown out. Scott liked it that way and Isaac liked when Scott’s hair was long and curly so he could run his hands through it. Scott’s hair had red stripes in it as well, Isaac helped him dye it a month ago.
His heart beat was Isaac’s favorite thing to listen to, he didn’t need music he just needed scott near him.
Isaac tried not to smile at that but he loved watching Scott sleep and he wasn’t ashamed of it. Scott looked so perfect under the sun that peaked from behind the curtains. “We have had this conversation before” Isaac smiles anyway after trying not to.
“I think it’s super creepy when you do that” Scott’s eyes don’t open even though he’s clearly awaken now. He feels the sunlight on his face even if it’s just a slight bit of sunlight.
“I think you’re really handsome asleep and i told you that you can’t stop me” Isaac moves closer to place a kiss on Scott’s cheek.
Scott finally opens his eyes and the sun is in his eyes but he doesn’t care he wants to see Isaac’s face. Isaac’s hair is messy from Sleep but Scott Loves that. Their mornings mostly consisted of this, soft kisses the sun around them consuming them. Scott finally chose to get out of bed pulling away from Isaac.
“How do you feel about our friends seeing us play” Isaac accepts Scott leaving the bed knowing he will be back.
“Our friends always watch us play?” Scott has his toothbrush in hand leaning against the doorframe of the bathroom.
“No i mean Allison and Lydia also Cora may have text me” Isaac leans his head against the headboard.
“Meaning Derek could be in town?” Scott dipped back into the bathroom to fully brush his teeth then when finished he goes back to sit at the edge of the bed.
“He’s never seen us play before” Isaac points out because Derek is never around these past Years always busy being a rockstar.
“Neither Allison or Lydia”
“There’s someone else that hasn’t seen us play” Isaac is subtle about mentioning a certain someone that Scott doesn’t talk about for some reason.
Stiles is the missing puzzle piece of everything not on purpose but After the fight they had senior year because of Theo something was different. They had apologized of course and understood that it wasn’t either of their faults it was Theo’s fault. For some reason Scott could feel stiles pulling away and they never had a chance to really talk about it because of the Wild hunt Then graduating and moving on with their lives. Scott still loves Stiles he doesn’t know if he will ever stop loving him but clearly there’s something Stiles can’t move past.
“You mean stiles” It took Scott a few minutes to catch on and his usual confused puppy expression is on his face but he understood perfectly what Isaac was hinting at.
“No i mean Your dad, of course i mean Stiles” Isaac’s favorite thing about scott second to his big brown eyes his the confused look he gets on his face.
“My dad also has never seen us play” Scott smiles at his own Words.
“I don’t think he needs to” sometimes before a show Isaac and Scott kiss on stage and the crowd at the bar loves it, probably because it’s a queer bar.
The show wasn’t until later that day so scott and Isaac decided to leave their apartment and go see Malia at the shop. Well Malia and Theo because Theo also worked there. Kira was most likely there also because Malia was there. It was a Saturday through so they closed around 3pm just so Malia could tune their guitar or fix on Personal projects like working on Scott’s bike.
Malia knew scott and Isaac were approaching the garage before they even approached. They set the tool box aside and stopped working on Scott’s bike for a moment. “How’s it going?” Scott asked even if malia basically had to ban him from coming to the shop because he always asked about his bike.
“Almost done I promise” Malia tries to convince him but no matter what he will still worry about the bike. In Malia’s opinion he should just chunk the piece of junk but They have said that to scott and already and He won’t listen.
“How much money will it take for you to stop working on this thing?” Isaac says taking’s Malia’s side in the ongoing dispute about Scott’s high school Dirt bike.
“None at all i will be happy to” Malia smiles at Isaac but Scott doesn’t find them funny.
“Where’s Theo?” Scott changed the subject. “Upstairs with Kira” Malia says referring to the apartment above the shop that Derek also owns but gave it to Malia.
“I hope you plan on taking a shower before the show later” Isaac says to Malia.
“No i actually think this is perfect for tonight” Malia is covered in car grease for the most part from the few cars that did come in earlier.
“You’re not serious are you”
“Yes i very serious” Malia has a smile on their face.
Scott and Isaac go upstairs leaving Malia because they still had to work on Theo’s truck. Theo worked at the Auto shop but he didn’t know shit about Cars and he told Malia that when he was applying for the job. Malia hired him anyway because he would be a good receptionist and he could always learn how fix cars from Malia.
Scott sees Theo and Kira playing with a grey ragdoll cat on the sofa. “You and Malia got a cat?” Scott says causing both Theo and Kira to look up from the cat to Isaac and Scott.
“After a lot of convincing” kira says.
“Malia hates it” Theo states petting the cat.
“No they don’t” kira is aware of Malia’s feelings about the cat but Malia wanted to do it for Kira. Be cat parents and take care of a cat.
“Why does Malia hate the cat?” Isaac asks.
“The cat got out the front door yesterday and went down to the shop and you should have seen Malia’s face guys”
“It’s just an adjustment” Kira says.
Isaac looks over at Scott and Scott knows that he’s getting an idea. “We can’t get a cat” “no what about a dog” Isaac says “okay maybe” Scott smiles.
“Do you guys wanna practice before the show?” Theo asks.
“Where’s liam?” Isaac asks.
“We practiced yesterday and there’s still sound check so I don’t think we need to” scott says.
It’s still a hour before the bar gets really filled with people so the band is doing sound check and going over what songs to play. “Where’s liam” Scott asks realizing liam wasn’t in his place.
“I’m right here” Liam appears out of nowhere to make it seem like he’s been there the entire time, he hasn’t.
They mess around with the sound Isaac on his drums playing the beat a bit they do this every Saturday before actually playing so everyone remembers what song their doing and so they don’t get nervous. Malia and Scott do a duet just to play around but Scott is the only lead when they actually start performing. Isaac and Scott kiss a few times not their actual kiss for the crowd but they kiss to get it out their system because Isaac doesn’t like kissing Scott when he’s performing. Malia and Theo throw back a few shots of tequila before every show as a tradition. Kira gives Malia a good luck kiss before taking her sit at the bar. Theo doesn’t sit at the bar the entire night he likes watching up close so when it’s not really any people he stands near the stage to reserve his spot but over time it gets super crowded and he ends up in the back with Kira anyways.
It’s still not exactly time for them to start playing but the bar is starting to fill up. Scott sees a familiar face out in the bar while tuning his guitar. “Derek?” He jumps off stage and immediately goes over to Derek and Cora that’s who he sees at first but once up close he sees the whole group. Allison is beside Lydia, Boyd and Erica are talking to each other and there’s someone talking to Erica but he doesn’t recognize them.
“Scott did you dye your hair?” Allison’s first reaction to seeing Scott in a year or so they don’t even remember the last time they saw each other. “Are you growing a beard?” Lydia then asks after her girlfriend was also inspecting his appearance. “Yeah and no, who is that with Erica” Scott asks “we haven’t seen you in forever no hug?” Lydia asks “oh sorry” Scott goes to hug Allison first then Lydia not noticing much difference to their appearance like they noticed his. Allison’s hair was cut in layers like he last remembered in high school but it definitely wasn’t the same. Lydia’s hair was somewhat more strawberry blonde and when she went to move it out of her face he noticed the diamond.
“Lydia let me see your hand” Scott finally focused on them for a second. “Why?” She questioned confused by his question. “The ring” he says. Allison Smiles showing off her dimples and smile lines. “Oh this” Lydia acts coy about it. Scott holds Lydia’s hand in his inspecting the ring with a gold band on it and a sparkling diamond ln the middle. “Did Ally propose?” Scott smiled for them “she did” Lydia beams. Scott calls the rest of the band over to look at Lydia’s ring.
Scott didn’t know what to say to Derek or how to ask him what was being famous like Derek probably hated it. Scott did hug him through “where are you now Los Angeles?” Scott asks instead “nope New York just to sell my album” Derek tells him “album wow” Scott’s been meaning to listen to Derek’s music but it keeps slipping his mind. “You haven’t listened to any of my songs have you?” Derek knew immediately “can’t say that i have” scott “i haven’t heard any of your stuff either so i guess we’re even” Derek pats him on the back. “It’s nothing fancy me and malia just wrote some stuff mostly about the pack and our partners” Scott says.
Scott’s attention is pulled away from Derek by seeing yet another familiar face this time a face he would never forget ever. His best friend stiles that’s who was talking to Erica.
“Stiles what are you doing here?”
“I invited him” Isaac comes up behind Scott.
“No you begged and annoyed me there’s a big difference” Stiles’s grew his hair out as well and has a peach fuzz mustache growing.
“You invited him?” Scott’s mouth runs dry as he turns to isaac.
“One year anniversary gift” Isaac kisses Scott on the cheek.
Scott knew there was something nagging at him that he completely forgot about. “Shit Isaac i didn’t remember” Scott feels guilty. “I know you forgot, it’s okay”
“A person isn’t really a gift you do realize that Lahey”
“I am gonna let you guys catch up before i say something to him, or punch him”
“Hey buddy” stiles almost goes in for a hug but hugging after not seeing each other doesn’t feel right. Scott still doesn’t know what to say Isaac is the world’s best boyfriend and he doesn’t know what to say to his best friend.
“I know it’s been awhile but….” then Scott does finally hug him. Doesn’t matter how long they haven’t seen each other he misses him and that hug says everything he doesn’t know how to say.
It’s time for them to perform now “where’s Liam?” Scott asks. “In the bathroom making out with Theo” Malia informs, next to Scott holding her guitar. “He needs to get his ass here now” Scott mutters. “Are you nervous to play?” Malia asks knowing he only swears like that when he’s nervous to play and he’s never really nervous when they play because he knows the crowd. “No i’m not nervous” Scott tells her “yes you are” Isaac says from his drums.
“Kiss him Isaac” Malia says
“Not yet only when he starts playing”
Scott shouldn’t be nervous he knows what the crowd likes and he has a relationship with the people in the bar so why is his hand sweating so much. Some of his friends have never seen him holding a guitar before but that shouldn’t matter they’re his friends. “What did i miss” Liam comes up on stage.
“Next time you wanna make out with theo don’t do it right before we play” Malia says to Liam.
“Liam just get in your damn spot” Isaac tells him because there was no use in denying it.
