Emergency commission!

As some of you might have heard, I’ve recently broke my phone and it was pronounced dead on arrival =(

The phones here are crazy expensive and I spent half the money in my bank to buy a new one. (Didn’t start with much money to begin with ahsdjkhaklfd) So… Emergency commission!

 I’m doing profile pictures (!) in this art style!  £15 / character (bust) & £20 for two.

For the longest time, I wanted to commission an piece of Freya and Kane based on that above song. And, for the longest time, I never could think of anything good. Until recently.

Huge thanks for @liyuanne​ for going above and beyond what I asked her for. I love pretty much everything about this.

So I made a new oc while toying with hero forge ashkdjhwa

Their name is Azimuth and they are the guide to the entrance of this mythical / historical city ruin deep under earth. The only way to reach there is through a natural coral maze.

Azimuth have been in the maze for too long and removed from other merfolks that they tend to live in their own head. Despite wanting to be helpful and lead people through the maze, they lose interest in travellers the moment they decided they aren’t nice. (Being alone made Azimuth lose touch with how complicated people can be. So their opinions on good and bad became extremely black and white.)

Azimuth has many marine life friends, but they crave friends that they can talk to, which is why they help those they like through the maze. The sad thing is that the people that did go through the maze under their help never returns (usually because the later sections towards the ruins are deadly). People they didn’t help usually died in the maze.

So, some stuff I know about Aji as a character so far:

Love felynes in general. Especially her palico, Aristotle.

Hates rats with a passion.

Gets lost a lot. Can’t read maps to save a life.

Isn’t particularly stupid but relies a lot on instinct. Plays a lot of waiting game with monsters.

Pretty slow on getting things. Not a very sensitive person.

Aristotle is the smarter of the two.

Is easily distracted.

Loves listening to stories.

Is a coward but can be strong for Aristotle.

The reason she came to the new world is simple: to look for a new life for herself & her palico. She grew up on the street and used to steal food for living until she met Aristotle & really just became a hunter for him. (Her core drive is her cat ajsdhjakhliauh)

She thinks she’s just lucky to survive through all those hunts.
