okay, by now everyone knows that yes, LOOKING GOOD IS A JOB. and like anything in life it requires consistency. it can feel like a chore if u genuinely don't enjoy it so in this post i'm sharing how i began to enjoy it and make it less tedious...💬🎀
WEEKLY BEAUTY SPLIT ;
we've heard of the workout split but what about the beauty maintenance split. you shouldn't be doing all of the same things every single day, ofc you'll get bored. in my beauty binder i have a page where i explain my weekly beauty split in depth from monday through friday (and how i like to keep it simple on the weekends)
this is custom to you and for what makes sense for YOU. if u have minimal time on the weekdays maybe one day out of the weekday + the weekends. or if you're like me and u have control over ur weekdays then you can be monday through friday.
PRESENTATION UNLOCKS POTENTIAL ;
i believe that everyone is born beautiful! and i'll stand on that. but that doesn't change the fact that presentation matters. the better u present yourself, the more potential you unlock. so when ur learning how to better ur presentation, your multiplying ur potential.

CREATE YOUR OWN BEAUTY STANDARD ;
having standards with yourself is important and i think that your looks are no exception. however i think its so incredibly harmful to hold yourself to standards that society creates, especially if those standards were not made for you!
have ur own beauty standard! you should be the one deciding. if ur wondering, "honey, how do i create my own beauty standard" i've got you! we'll break it down to three pillars which are consistency, discipline, and control.
❤︎ consistency - consistently show up the best you possibly can every single day. don't leave the house without brushing ur hair, don't leave the house in pjs, wash ur face, put on a bit of mascara or have a 5 minute makeup routine. you should never put yourself out there inconsistent to your standard.
❤︎ discipline - even when your not feeling motivated u should be able to get up and still take care of yourself. whether u feel like it or not its a vital point in the quality of your life!
❤︎ control - choosing yourself before impulses. not letting your emotions, cravings, or distractions run the day. you decide how you react, how you spend your time, and how you treat your body. staying calm, collected, and intentional even when things feel chaotic.
YOUR HOMEWORK ;
create ur beauty standard - "what does the best version of YOU look like" take into consideration features that u were born with, ur favorite features etc.
identify problem areas and create a weekly beauty split - it doesn't even have to be problem areas, if u rly love ur complexion craft a weekly beauty split for super soft supple skin. accentuate.
