(Hello! I thought I would do an introductory post for any newcomers here!!

I'm Phoe! I run this here blog where I draw slice-of-life cutesy stuff of Chuuya! Very rarely will there be any sort of angst (like a 0.01%!!)

This blog mainly focuses on making sure our dear boy Chuuya is happy, content, and enjoying life. It also contains a lot of Soukoku so if that is not your thing I apologise!! While this is a Chuuya blog, I cannot stop the occasional Dazai from appearing.

and not only that, women who don’t wear makeup and are proud not to get called pick mes in the comments of the video and all over TikTok. once again, being a pick me means being a part of a marginalized group and betraying the interests of your class (women) for the approval and validation of the oppressor class (men). not wearing makeup, rejecting beauty culture in no way gains male approval or validation. these women do not realize that by insulting other women for not wearing makeup or not wearing it in a way that looks good, they are upholding and supporting misogyny. it’s so fucking sad.

I feel like this is jealousy disguising the opposition as jealousy...I feel like most women really do wish they could go out and feel fine and beautiful without wearing makeup. I feel like most women really do feel the pressure and the burden on their wallets and they feel like “I don’t wear makeup” is bragging about their confidence and the “you don’t wear makeup because you can’t do it” or “well you should because you need it” is specifically to tear down the confidence they have enough of to go without makeup. Because do they really think it’s so hard to put on makeup that these girls can’t do it/can’t do it well? There are so many tutorials on YouTube, anyone can learn how to do the trendiest makeup looks if they practice enough. It may not be the easiest thing in the world but it’s not so hard either. They’re jealous these girls don’t waste their time and money and feel confident in themselves, jealous that they made that choice despite all the pressure to be flawless because they gave into that pressure themselves and it feels shitty to have to put on a face everyday. Seriously. All they’re doing is shilling for capitalism and tearing women down.
