Interwoven

New paleoart piece! This one is with primally watercolor outlined in colored pencil, it's of a sinosauropteryx and red fox. They are pretty similar to each other in my opinion, and filled the same ecological niches in their respective ecosystems. Both were around the same size, both ate small lizards and mammals, and both had the same colors. It's amazing how nature repeats it's patterns even millions of years apart. A winding circle with no end.

Maisie's kittens are young enough that they can't always tell the difference between one, muscly, grizzled cat that protects them and the other. Occasionally they wander off with the wrong one, out to grab food for Maisie. And. Well. The seven kittens now following him.
