Quick question:

How many of you would read a book series based on Greek mythology retellings?

Because I'm working on the first book that is a retelling of Hades and Persephone.

So we were talking about The Lunar Chronicles and were specifically discussing Jacin Clay.

She asked if he was baby. I said no. Jacin is our stale cinnamon roll. He has been alive too long and is too cynical.

I clarified that Wolf is baby, Cress is the cinnamon roll, and Jacin is a stale cinnamon roll.

She asked if she would like Jacin. I said yes. We Lunartics don't say it often, but we love Jacin.

Then she said that Jacin would probably be like Varian from Tangled the Series in that Varian is a stale cinnamon roll before he, and I quote, "was re-moisturized".

New Ship Names for The Lunar Chronicles Characters

Brace yourselves...

Cress/Thorne: Captain Corne or just Corne

Scarlet/Wolf: Wolflet (I think this is already their ship name and it’s cute! I say Wolflet as a “new ship name” only because I’ve seen them referred to as Scarf.)

Winter/Jacin: Princess Sunshine (XD Jk.) Jinter??? I can’t think of anything good for this one.

Cinder(Selene)/Kai: Sekai or Kinder or Cindai
