How do you feel about the upcoming Keroro movie (and anime)?

Hii there anon!! I have been doing well for the most part!! 😁💙💙 And oh gosh I am honestly SO EXCITED!!! I am someone who usually enjoys the little things so I've been just over the moon to just get NEW CONTENT OF THE FROGS AFTER AGESSS. When they released the soundtracks for the movie (Destiny Lent Out and Kero to March returns) I might have actually cried out of joy while listening to those I'm gonna be honest, sniff. (the music video for Destiny Lent Out is SO GOOODDD) <- just happy to see new content of the frogs IN HD Keroro Gunso is one of my comfort medias AND a long time special interest so I am very much looking forward to the movie!! I don't really have any hopes for it, I am just happy to see it if anything!! :] (I mean obvs I'm hoping for some girodoro crumbs but that's besides the point bwahah) As for the upcoming reboot of the anime, I'm curious to see what they do with it! And how the new va's will sound like. The new style will def take a moment to get used to but I do find it charming! I do hope we get some new fans who will fall in love with the show through it as well! ( I am also kinda scared to see how they handle the whole Giroro crushing on Natsumi bit... It is clearly still a thing, unfortunately,,,,)

There's also the musical coming in fall as well which feels like a fever dream and I am SO EXCITED FOR THAT TOOOO!!! Ikemen frogs weren't on my 2026 bingo card yet here we are. Suuuch a good year to be a Keroro fan, I am jumping from joy!!! Shorty said, I am very excited and very very happy!! :]

“Destiny Lent Out” x Keroro Movie 6 Music Video Released! TONS of New Footage!

ano’s channel has posted a music video featuring the full version of “Destiny Lent Out” over a metric ton of new footage from the new movie! This is probably the most clips we’re getting until the movie comes out! As this does seem to be clips from the final film, there are mild spoilers, so be advised.

Also, the closed captions have an English option, so the song now has official English lyrics! (Along with Korean and both Simplified and Traditional Chinese.) So much for me haha.

The situation is so funny man

Basically, Mr grifter announced that he might be getting into the collecting side of yugioh, which would lead to the scalping hell that now plagues the Pokémon and One Piece TCGs

As a joke, MBTYugioh gave them pointers on what to “invest in”, recommending some of the WORST shit products that this game released in the years

He then followed up with a tongue-in-cheek, clearly trolling video recommending shit like Legendary Duelists sets, Duelist of Deep and Synchro Storm, and the Platinum cards, and exclusive COINS before ending the video with “Don’t invest in yugioh. You will lose money due to this game’s reprint policies”

Like, it was very obvious for anyone with half-a-brain cell and is familiar with Yugioh that the video is a joke

BUT a bunch of scalping bots took the video at face value and bought out these doodoo, worthless products immediately after his fuckass video came out

Now they’re sitting on unsellable trash. 100% deserved, I hope everyone whose trying to grift this game like Pokémon loses their money

The tenth time, she says "To the Stable Master," and is shown the fastest horse in the stable, majestic and free as the wind even in captivity

"To the baker," she is shown the man's daughter, young and adorable and full of joy and laughter.

"To the artist who did my portrait," she is shown a painting of a woman done by the man's teacher, who he still looks up to now that he is well established himself.

"To the Royal Knight," she is surprised but not displeased to see the castle's entire guard force in the middle of doing drills.

The one hundredth time she asks the mirror, and it asks her "to whom?" she once again says, "To me." And she does the same the one hundred and second, and again and again and again.

It is a different person each time, and they are all beautiful.

I love headcanon-ing Garuru as aroace because he's so socially unaware and indifferent towards the clear presence of those feelings on others (see how ch254 and Pururu's crush on him during that episode, which kinda made me HC him as aroace) buuuut at the same time he's not like really that dense, he does acknowledge during the series Giroro's crush on Natsumi (which I personally dislike, but canonically speaking) and I'm quite sure he teases him about it too.

So personally I simply enjoy thinking of Garuru as a guy that simply lives for work, his platoon, friends (?), and family which he loves all very dearly in his own weird way but is not interested in an actual, formal relationship with someone else idkkk

Also extra, but I half guess Garuru falls into the "attractive" standards for keronians (?) considering Pururu's crush and comments about his appearance, adding to that his high rank and military reputation (which is kind of a double-edged sword, since it might be cool but also kinda scary at the same time) it's hard for me to not think he had to at least have one or two keronians fall head over heels for him like Pururu either in his teen years or early adulthood AT THE VERY LEAST like I doubt he'd be the classical popular guy at all due to his behaviour and personality and less in a school setting but yeah I'm just saying he's probably rejected people before because he genuinely doesn't care about that stuff

Thinking of how confused eridian scientists would be after they finally establish a day/night cycle for their new alien inhabitant friend Grace, he seems to do better with this schedule in place, he’s healthier and more active and lively, then all of a sudden he starts ignoring the cycle.

Scientists running back and forth. Asking Grace, “did light stop working question?” And he has to explain that no, it didn’t stop working he just got really invested in something and forgot to sleep and now his whole schedule is thrown off.

Random ahh but I've always thought that Garuru and Giroro's family was probably like immigrants or just from another place in Keron which would be more "western" than where they were shown to live during their childhoods (which I'm guessing is the equivalent to Japan).

Idk I think this headcanon I've subconsciously always had is mainly because of Garuru's portrayal, especially in chapter 183 (I love this side of Garuru so much I can actually remember this specific chapter number after years 😭), where he comes to Pekopon/Earth to visit Giroro for his day off :]

So in this chapter there's this scene where they're all uncomfortably eating lunch with the guy there who is struggling SO HARD with the chopsticks LMAO like maybe it was because the specific food in the plate was slippery but idk everyone else seemed to be doing just fine.

Also I may have some inclinations towards an "USA version in Keron" it's where they might have lived previously, or have some kind of heritage since Giroro's afro/hair is shown as blonde! And although I know this is stereotypical as hell, it's a comedy anime from the 2000s and there's always this Japan-America focus anyway idk 🥹

And this part now goes heavier on speculation/personal headcanon but I like to think that their parents used to live in this "Western Keron" place and Garuru lived most of childhood there but they ended up moving to this "Japanese Keron" side around the time Giroro was born for X reasons.

So Giroro adapted quite well to the place, the habits, the culture etc. I feel like he's always a bit on the awkward side anyway but he managed to get friends and he doesn't seem to have difficulties with simple stuff like Garuru with the chopsticks.

And I know Garuru iirc was like, super popular during highschool or wtv but that probably mostly came from his skills at the military school. On the other hand though, he's rarely shown or mentioned to really have had many friends and it's actually more often shown that he's quite awkward and antisocial like Giroro, maybe a bit more (like the whole being in his room alone, blasting metal music like an emo teen).

And how does this have anything to do with the whole chopsticks thing? Well, I personally think that it shows how Garuru hasn't really properly adapted nor is very socially skilled... (He's so me fr) He probably hadn't managed to make any friends when he moved, which means he mostly just focused on the school/military stuff instead of socialising and getting more fond of the different cultural things there (chopsticks...).

On a similar note, I think he's always been very socially unaware and awkward since always anyway. He doesn't seem to really read well into more personal, social clues when it comes to other people (see him being completely unaware of Pururu's crush on him, for example) and maybe he just finds it funny or something but I personally like to think he doesn't really ALWAYS mean to make people uncomfortable as hell, he's just awkward, doesn't know how to act around people in a more casual, personal way outside of work and his fame and rank makes him extremely intimidating when he's just really chilling (god I love 183 so much GOD).

Well, yeah. Chopsticks, I guess. :∆
