more ladies, snake edition!
I am sorry I have not been present in the last howevermanymonths. I am still trying to find my place in the world. I began some new jobs after i left school and they've crippled my ability to illustrate like i did. But i want to come back and not only illustrate but try all kinds of creative endeavors.
I have some sketches here. i like to draw ladies. all ladies. all the time.
New website in the works.
Will have a real domain soon.
#picstitch a glow in the dark tree spirit for my friend Hannah! I wanted to be sure he’d be safe traveling so I made an origami box for him! If you’d like to buy yourself a plant/terrarium friend, message me!
i havent posted much here, BUT this is the kind of thing ive been doing lately! filling orders, getting my stuff out there.
Heart Ring
Hand sculpted and painted anatomically correct heart ring! Rings are adjustable.
"Eye Love You!" Hair Clip
Hand cast resin and painted to look like an eye! Epoxied onto a silk flower and attached onto an alligator clip.
This one is actually a personal favorite of mine! I hope it goes to a good home!
"Lets Get Kraken" necklace!
Made with hand sculpted polymer clay and hand cast resin. The eye was hand painted as well!
Almost done with this batch!
what do you think of these demon teeth? Should I make more?
A sneak peek of what I've been up to! Body parts jewelry line! Everything is hand sculpted, hand painted, hand assembled! Everything! At least three of these items pictures glow in the dark! ooooooooooOOOOOooooooh I know right?!
I'll be vending at Gallery 5 this Saturday!
So I've been making several sculptural things lately, and I ended up doing this for fun! SO CUTE I CANT GET OVER IT, he's protecting my tiny succulent plant.
I estimate my kodama baby is like...2-3 cm tall.
IT GLOWS IN THE DARK, GUYS.
Anyway, I'll post more of what I've been up to over the next couple days. I've been pumping out so much recently, I just have to document it all.
So this months Dr. Sketchys had a lovely mershark to pose for us! this was hella fun to do. I was somewhat stressed before hand, and then coming in to draw the bubbly Ms. Melody Magpie was really nice.
I WON A BOOK ALSO??!!? Kaiju vs. Melody was the winning sketch for the book IDLE HANDS: The Art Of Coop. I have to say....that was really unexpected hahah
Angel.
For my grandmother.
so i'm playing with the trial version of Mischief, the painting program. its interesting and im slowly getting the hang of it. I really like the infinite canvas and zoom, but we'll see how this piece ends up.
trying to do something for my grandparents :)
playing with wax and ink! kinda strange looking stuff
Hello!
First, I'm sorry I haven't been around! I took a trip!
Second! Hello to my new followers! I appreciate you taking the time to get a look at my art!
Dr. Sketchy's RVA! This month's model was Madame Onca! (Onca means "cat"!) I think she did an excellent job modelling, and she's so funny. She's putting together the first Virginia Burlesque and Sideshow Festival! (I hope i can afford to go...gosh its so soon!)
The last two sketches won me a prize!!! That never happens! The contest was to draw Madame Onca as she's belly dancing. Lots of fun to watch and doodle.
I had a good time even more so because I had a friend come with me. The last few times, I'd been going by myself. Which is fine, but a little awkward. But this month was great!
Another speed painting. I used google for reference? just practicing.
