.𖥔 ݁ ˖ » Simon having chronic pain a lot just makes sense especially with the way his arm was ripped off in the manor it was that's sure to cause that type of pain but also even phantom pain if it makes sense. The only reason he didn't bleed out to death was because of the mutation it halted the blood loss process and perhaps maybe even the radiation poisoning Simon was exposed to by the camera could be why he bled so slowly, his cells were already dying and destorying themselves.
.𖥔 ݁ ˖ » Grace ended up making a break through of sorts, he was able to make up some suppresents of sorts that helped Simon manage his mutations thought it's not a fix all as it only temporarily supresses the mutations since there stronger than any human medication. Although Grace loves Simon regardless he wishes he could reassure him and let him know that his mutations don't make him any less worthy of his love, he just wants Simon to be kinder to himself and not so harsh on himself because what happened to him wasn't his fault.
.𖥔 ݁ ˖ » Simon's of course a bit insecure of his mutations, like he's afraid to look into mirrors and face himself he thinks its all grotesque, the features he has the teeth at the side of his face, those blood shot red eyes all looking back at him. However as stated before Grace doesn't mind at all, at the end of the day he still loves Simon in every way shape in form beauty is on the inside not really on the outside its what's inside that counts the most.
.𖥔 ݁ ˖ » Simon has fangs, aside from his mutated teeth/mouth on the side when he's in his form where he's not mutated like that he has fangs. (basing this off a couple fanarts I've seen recently) and he for sure is a biter no doubt about it.
.𖥔 ݁ ˖ » when Simon wakes up to an empty space in they're shared bed he'll get up and go look for Grace . He'll eventually find him working on something and trying to get a break through, Simon doesn't say anything he'll just lean over Grace's shoulder and quietly mumble for him to come to bed. If that doesn't work than its time for plan B aka ✨neck kisses as distraction ✨ he'll start distracting Grace with kisses til Grace can't take it anymore. It works every time too with Grace sighing then them going back to bed.
.𖥔 ݁ ˖ » Simon is the most touched starved man, Grace too I mean the both of them literally had little to no physical human contact at all so it would make sense. Depite their traumas they each endured, the both of them crave physcial touch, affection you name it. These two could literally heal each other's traumas just by being together . Simon's love language is physical touch, he's always touching Grace in hugs, on the shoulder any chance he gets, he just needs to know that he's real that he actually escaped that bloody ocean. Grace's love language is gift giving, he'll give Simon some food or something usualful ( a close friend of mine spoke about Grace making/gifting Simon a prosethic arm). shared love languages they'd have could be acts of service, quality time, and words of affrimation. I feel like Grace would def verbally give Simon reaasurance and such to comfort him whenever he needs, also him with acts of service towards Simon, from where Simons from he may not be accustomed to certian things, Grace does his best to teach/show Simon things fill in the gaps for him basically.
.𖥔 ݁ ˖ » With Simon's mutations sometimes he gets into these feral states/madness states? sort of like episodes of sorts and he's not self aware during them. It takes Grace talking to him and getting him to come back reality to really understand what just happened. He apologies so much and Grace just frowns he's concerned about Simon loosing himself and maybe even his humanity someday, but today is today and tomrorrow they'll figure it out together.
