I love that Dani is so brave, and also sooooo anxious. It's such a real thing but so rare to see represented. When everything goes down with the kids and Viola she has 0 chill. Like she's not a calm hero, she's so freaked out the whole time and I loved how they played that.

The fact that Dani is allowed her anxiety all the way through, and it in no way reduces her courage, makes me so happy. That she’s allowed to walk around with fists clenched, that her voice breaks, that she just mutters “shit” under her breath and then does the hard stuff anyway is so important. And she hits that last night, gets beaten over the head, tied up, scared half the death, dragged through an entire house by her throat, and still is brave as fuck? Girl’s a goddamn superhero, and I love her so much.
