Sorry if you have gotten this ask before, but do you really use fire alpaca?! That's insane! If so, how do you get such good watercolor like blending? That has always been a big issue for me on Firealpaca and Medibang!

Hey there! Thank you! I used Firealpaca back before going to school where I could switch over to Adobe. I really love firealpaca!

Usually for blending, I’d mess around with the brush settings (I can’t remember which ones I used to use but they were just modified default ones), and then add another layer beneath to match the ideal value. The lower the transparency of the brush you’re blending with the better, so that lower layer helps. Plus the blending modes on there like the multiply or overlay always come in handy.

Now I mostly work in greyscale for blending + values, then use the colour overlay on a separate layer to colour it. At the end I usually add some kind of grain or texture filter over the whole piece.
