Lo'ak laughed as he flew; the wind whipped his hair around, while gently pushing and pressing against his skin. He dove down on his Ikran, whooping and cheering to his heart’s content. Flying up in the sky, a simple thing that brought him so much joy.

The smell of dew and the trees filled his senses as he got closer and closer to the forests below, before pulling up sharply and gliding above the treetops. He cried out happily, flipping and spinning as he soared. The grin on his face so bright not even the shadow of eclipse could dull it.

He tried with all his might to wrestle out of the taller man’s grip, even as the grip on his braids got tighter, fumbling around in the darkness. The slick ground and wet foliage not aiding him in his escape whatsoever.

He turned slightly, his teeth baring as he tried to bite at the Avatar’s arm, but he only managed to graze the skin with his fangs. With the suffocating grip on his Kuru, he couldn’t turn his head enough to get a good enough angle. He growled instinctively, adrenaline pumping through his veins, heart thumping in his chest.

“Fuck you!”

Neteyam looks full Na’vi. No eyebrows, no extra finger, the oldest, warrior child. Good at hunting, following orders, etc. Different, but not in the way Kiri and Lo’ak are.
