Trailer for Invincible Season 4
The fourth season of Invincible premieres on March 18, 2026. It's still a little while away, but time is flying by, so the wait won't be too long.
The pace at which this series is progressing is also impressive, so it's no surprise that this new season will present us with a lot of surprises.
The trailer is fantastic, but be careful, it also contains a lot of spoilers:
I'm about to discuss some of those spoilers, so be warned.
The unexpected return of Damien Darkblood: Those of us who enjoy the comics surely remember Damien as a more or less funny joke, a not-too-subtle reference to Rorschach and also, in a way, to Hellboy. But in the animated version, they've decided to give him more screen time. So even those of us who read the comics cover to cover (more than once) will be surprised.
Tech Jacket's official entrance: Although we've already seen Tech Jacket on more than one occasion in previous seasons, it seems that in this new season we'll finally get to know the hero better. That's fantastic because he's a character I love.
Debbie and Nolan's return: Although Nolan and Mark had met before, and we've seen the character's adventures and misadventures here and there, the truth is that Nolan hadn't returned to Earth since that disaster where he practically killed half the world. Even worse, he hasn't spoken to Debbie since then. What will that reunion be like? How will they handle it here in the animated series?
Did they Whitened Oliver's skin?: One detail that has caught the attention of many fans of the series is that Oliver looks less purple in this new season. Does that mean they whitened our boy? No, remember that Viltrumite DNA gradually takes over from the other species they combine with. Eventually, Oliver will be a full Viltrumite, although he will retain some preferences…
What happens to Eve's powers?: Our beloved Eve will find herself losing her powers. This is serious, especially considering that Mark was only able to defeat Conquest with Eve's help. What will happen when they face new enemies? Will Mark be able to do it alone? At least Samantha's "nice" dad's wish is coming true…
Enter Brit: Cecil needs a strong leader to command the Globe Guardians. Robot may be very intelligent, but he's not up to the task. So Cecil goes to find a veteran. Brit is a great character, and I'm sure you'll love him.
Beware of Dinosaurus: Another very interesting character, although I seem to recall that he didn't stand out much in his first appearances. But don't be fooled, he's one of the most insidious villains in this story.
Universa arrives: The trailer also shows us the arrival of Universa, an interstellar queen who will try to steal our world's resources. This, of course, will make her a villain that Mark and Eve will have to face.
The Ragnars or Rognarrs: On the other hand, we'll see that the members of the Coalition of Planets begin to gather the threats that could endanger the Viltrumites, among them the terrible Ragnars, these incredibly powerful and violent beasts—a great option, but also very dangerous.
Space Racer: Another of these threats will be Space Racer, who possesses "The Infinity Ray," a weapon that can pierce even Viltrumites. Fortunately, in this case, Space Racer is quite reasonable.
Thragg enters the scene: Finally, the fearsome Thragg enters the scene, although this time it seems to me that they've changed his appearance quite a bit. Is it so that Freddie Mercury's heirs don't sue them? Hahaha! But I'm almost certain we'll see very little of him; perhaps he'll only appear at the end.
With all these details, the fourth season of the Invincible animated series is shaping up to be a major event. Not only do we have the surprise of Darkblood, but a variety of fascinating characters and storylines also come into play. We can't wait for March 18th!
