So there's like only 2 aus that show up in here. A dhmis glisten au based off his old design and him being a dhmis oc, I'll probs make a post expanding on that idea at some point cuz omg I need more content of that. Then there's bug au pastel meringue, currant cream, and amber sugar where pm and cc are spiders (specifically golden orb weavers) and amber sugar is a mix of like bee and wasp or smth cuz it's funny

ALSO MAJOR SPOILERS CUZ I AM SO SO MAD

I absolutely hate the way they mary sue'd Shadow Milk cuz wdym he pulls a "actually I live because I absorb the other beasts" and can now do timeline stuff (which I will get to later). Like the devs are doing everything to make sure Shadow Milk can live and will be the center of attention because they think that's what'll get them money. And to say I'm not just mad cuz White Lily died, as a Silent Salt fan too I do believe him dying was the best choice for him. White Lily dying wasn't the best choice for her, she had a want to grow and change and the devs killed her before she even got that. Like wdym her first time seeing all her friends grouped up together is in the war where she dies. There's just so much I could talk about there but I'm gonna go to my point about Shadow Milk being able to do that timeline stuff and how that's just making him stronger than he is. So I'd say the timelining itself isn't what's the problem, it's the fact he seemed to worry Timekeeper (for those of you guys who will say "it's because he wants to destroy all the timelines I can say smth about this). In Oven break, during the dragon quests, we see Longan reach their awakened form. Now Longan goes to destroy the timelines because they feel it's the only way to make the world pure again or whatever (it's been like a year since I've done that event) and you wanna know how Timekeeper felt

They weren't scared or anything, this seems to be another case of Kingdom rewriting a character to fit what they want and what they want is to make Shadow Milk seem like a super big deal because once again they think it'll get them money. I can also go into a rant about that for the people who do think this was all planned to happen. So as someone who has played since 2021 I got to see just how the game changed after Shadow Milk appeared and I'll say after his first appearance in Beast Yeast episode 2 there wasn't really any difference, he wasn't as popular at the time. That changed greatly when he actually came out during his updates and the devs caught onto this so fast. Suddenly he's showing up in several updates, he has several YouTube vids about him, he is getting far more stuff than other characters and it's because the devs know people will talk about it and it will either bring in new players or get them more views on their videos. In Eternal Sugar's update he appears, you can literally cut out the part in the story where he shows up and nothing would change, he did not add anything to the story other than further confirming that he is probably the reason the other beasts fell. But people talked about it, they talked a lot about it and that's what the devs wanted. After this they're finding ways to add Shadow Milk to more updates, maybe even make more videos of him, more Shadow Milk overall because it gets them money. And for the money stuff, yes that is an issue cuz I have also seen people say that the game isn't ptw or greedy for releasing a new legendary/high tier character every other month. Back in 2021 when I started playing the only legendary was Sea Fairy, there were only 3 high tier characters being Pure Vanilla and Hollyberry too. Frost Queen would later be released November of that year making two legendaries in the game. A YEAR later we got Black Pearl. They had these high tier characters added into the game a year after the other so you actually had time to get them before they were thrown out of the meta by the next legendary. And because of this we actually had epic cookies being part of the meta, Custard III was the meta for a bit, and that all slowly got ruined when Mystic Flour was released. Now people weren't mad with Mystic Flour, it was actually Awakened Dark Cacao they were mad with. People were mad that you'd have to pull for an entire new cookie to get that awakened form, and the fact he was coming out just after Mystic Flour made it worse. And due to a lot of protesting the devs had made it so that the awakened forms were just skins for the ancients, now people thought they had did it and prevented the game from going ptw until the update actually came out and revealed that you still needed those 20 awakened soul stones to actually get the awakened form. Then it started going downhill when Burning Spice came a few months later, until eventually we hit the Shadow Milk update which would basically ruin the game. So I do believe none of what happened in this update was planned, the devs wanted to find a way to make sure they could keep milking Shadow Milk for money and they found a way. Unless of course that chat gpt theory is correct. For those who don't know I'm pretty sure from what I've seen going around the devs had a bookmark of chat gpt on their computer, and now we're seeing them use killed and died in the game instead of crumbled. Now that there doesn't sound like a big deal but if you're someone who's played the game for a while you'll know that the writers always used cookie language to the point of doing the eyecing and earcing thing, they would not forget crumbled as it is one of the most common cookie language words. So there's a possibility this update was written by ai, and I would note that this hasn't been confirmed yet so be careful with sharing this info here in this last paragraph around, but I wouldn't be surprised if they had used ai to find a way to keep Shadow Milk relevant.
