okay so idk if this is a hot take or not but it kinda irks me when I see aromantic ppl bashing on like anything romantic and I’m not trying to be offensive at all I think aromantic ppl are great and deserve to live how they want to but it makes me feel kinda shitty when an aromantic person posts something like “I ❤️ divorce” or some shit like that because I’m a person who desperately wants to fall in love and be in love and feel romantic attraction for someone because it makes me happy and giddy and all that stuff and ofc seeing someone actively shit on something that I want so fucking much makes me feel like it’s stupid and not respected

Again, I have no problem with aromantic people, it’s just certain people saying certain things that are pissing me off and making me feel shitty

expanding on this because I think I need to clarify: I have no problem with people on the aromantic spectrum, I think everyone deserves to live their life the way they want. But it sucks when certain aromantic accounts act like they’re better than other people just because they don’t feel romantic attraction or make people feel stupid for having romantic feelings
