Hey everyone! There’s a Mega Man convention that’s trying to make it on Kickstarter, and since they have a week to go, it’d be great to see them reach their goal!!!

I know not everyone lives close (or in the US for that matter) BUT:

There are virtual badge options

Getting this to its goal may result in the coordinators being able to get it running more in different locations in the future, and

It may even show Capcom yet again how important this series is to fans!!!

hello folks! Recently found this really immature and probably concerning account that tries to act edgy and post some really weird crap. (I regret looking at this person account, and I would NOT recommend looking at their account due to the fact they throw slur like it was the 1800s and unlabeled gore towards a Megatron and Optimus Prime ship.. crazy)

I haven’t tried seriously drawing in like fifteen years 😳 the little sketches are my first attempt at Bass’s helmet and tbh I’m not sure if everyone is just really dramatic about it or if I’ve looked at so much blorbo art that my brain downloaded it ‘The Music Man’ style

The helmet makes better sense now?

I can't seem to give him an appropriate smile/expression to save my life. Also he's crammed down at the bottom of the page (almost ran out of space for those big honkin' feet!) to leave room for the wings but it's becoming increasingly clear that they are not going to fit, I'll have to do them separately and piece him together in photoshop.

Bonus inked Roll, now for all the "eh, we'll fix it in post" crap that needs done. Like that foot (ಥ_ಥ)

Kk, but turns out the main problem was NOT the helmet. Yes it was off, but the reason it was off was due to the angle /position of the face.

Here’s a mid comparison of it. (Aka I traced you character head and separated to see what it was its problem)

Yeah, I tried fixing the positioning of the face, but I feel like I somehow made it worse. 💀

so here is me trying to fix his head? More like I had to draw a box to see what was going on.

Albeit this is just a guess, but I think the head shape in general made the head/helmet a bit iffy. So I had to make it smaller. Although it’s a bit weird I try making some sense of it.

However, I couldn’t really make sense of it? Like I don’t know why, but each time when I try to fix it. It wouldn’t click for me. But in conclusion, I kinda believe that the head is the issue and the reason who the helmet looks a bit iffy.

I’m really surprised that one of the main things people comment about on my art is my colours because I’m honestly really terrible at colour theory. Colouring is my least favourite part of drawing because it’s so hard

Thinking about Proto Man as a disability metaphor. He was manufactured with a faulty core, and this affects his gameplay. He has to work twice as hard to clear the same levels that Mega Man can naturally. Idk im not a disability expert but i feel like there’s something here
