The curious woman grew fond of books during her time in captivity and found a sense of ease even being around them. Scanning the shelves for new information, she walked over to an area that always intrigued her, but was unable to have in the Tower. Seeing another woman who looked rather enthralled in her research, she quietly walked by to hopefully gain her attention. Giving off a small wave she saw just how exhausted she was, the poor thing.

“Oh no, don’t worry about it! I get pretty into books myself and just ignore when time flies!”

She giggled and placed thin fingers against her lips as she thought about the days she would spend reading. Seeing the piles of books in the corner where the pink haired woman was presumably studying at, she glanced over it to see the topic she was curious about. Taking her attention back to the stranger, she asked, “You’re into the occult and unusual things, I see. Amazing! What do you like? Why are you interested in it?” She wanted to keep asking questions, but the curious lamb quickly remembered her manners.

The dancer chuckled, giving an offhand gesture toward her haphazard stacks of books. Whatever she was after, it wasn’t in any of those volumes. What was it though? Luka wasn’t even certain anymore.

“I wish I could remember the exact term they used,” The pink haired woman muttered before turning her attention back to the stranger.

“I read a book a few days ago and it mentioned some sort of Interdimensional region. One not bound by the laws of our world. I’ve been here for hours at this point trying to find anything else about it,” Luka would answer with an accompanying kind, if tired, smile. Glancing at the other woman, she then bowed. “Ah, forgive me. My name is Megurine Luka.”

She heard what specific knowledge the woman was after and grew nervous, but tried to erase the unease that quickly swept over her.

It’s just a coincidence. It has to be.

She thought for a moment before following the bow with a quick curtsy. Walking over to the books and picked the one that seemed that would not topple over the growing tower of literature.

“Interdimensional region? Time travel, maybe? Or even just a faster way of getting to wherever the person wanted to go?”
