@loekvugs
I created this walk cycle to play with the idea of having certain elements being out of focus.
Hi everyone, My short film ‘Future Thoughts’ is online!. ‘Future Thoughts’ is an experimental, short film showing a collection of ideas about everyday life and new technologies in the near future. I often think about what could be possible in the future and from these thoughts the film originated. This film was made during the master of animation I followed a year ago. After the master the film was screened at a few festivals and now I thought it was time that everyone could see it.
Happy #EarthOvershootDay everyone! Today is the day on which our resource consumption for the year exceeds Earth’s capacity to regenerate those resources that year. Or simply said: we consume way more resources than the earth can handle.
I was asked to create the opening titles for the digital arts festival Playgrounds. This years edition was all about the blend between technology and creativity. It was a huge honor to create these titles for an event with so many talented artists.
This animation was inspired by the animated MTV idents. I wanted to create an ident for my own name and this is the result.
This is my entry for the stare down competition over at Pictoplasma. While sketching this character I was drawing it from different angles, so I thought, why not use them all in one animation.
With this self portrait I was aiming for a specific mix between realism and a more cartoon-like style.
This animation was inspired by the picture plane from the book ‘understanding comics’ from Scott McCloud. I wanted to see how a transition would look like between a minimal and more realistic portrait, and this is the result.
I was playing around with custom brushes in photoshop and ended up with this little guy.
