(TL) Logan’s parent’s groomed him to be of the world of business. However if you’d have asked him back then he would’ve (TR) gladly traveled the world without being encumbered by his folks and their demands. Most of Covaire knows Logan as the (BL) flirty, happy-go-lucky wolf of the pack. He’s the party boy, the dog guy. Logan does indeed see himself as an (BR) outdoor loving dog-dad these days. And he’s contented by that.

Tesla was supposed to be resting after her last visit to the hospital. But being bedridden for the last week had been vastly unstimulating for the young wolf. And young dogs and wolves tended to have one thing in common. When they’re bored, they find something to do. And apparently uprooting a pretty flowering bush of wildflowers near the border of the property had been what Tesla had found to entertain herself in the absence of her owner.
She was currently sorting cut branches of flowers by size and putting them in containers of various sizes she’d scavenged from around the house, now with water and plant food in them. But in a incredibly rare pursuit of fun, or possibly even mischief, she’d also been unusually careless as the path from the backdoor to her room was marked with an almost complete track of dirt and mud. She was planning to clean it up before her pack leader got home, but in her laser-focus, she’d manage to lose track of time until she caught his scent and presence at the doorway.
“You can stop staring, Logan. I got bored and needed something to do. I promise I’ll clean it up…”
He’d been standing there arms folded wondering just how something so small could cause so much chaos. But still, there was a smile on his lips as he moved to clean up around her. “I’m guessing the words rest and relaxation have escaped you but I coulda swore that doc said something about staying in the bed.” He teased as he moved around before he finally had a clean area around her. Settling in behind her he watched as she’d put together a whole hodge podge of flowers. “You ever think about working for that local florist? You put together a couple a pretty bunches here.” He offered as he kept her tucked to him. “But more importantly... how are you feeling?”

Alexandra had just been debating what to do with her day off when she had received the text. She hadn’t seen Logan in a while, some time with one of her favorite people was just what she needed. She didn’t even bother to knock, opening the door as she showed up at his house and laughing at the sight that greeted her. “Wow, I don’t think I’ve even elicited that kind of reaction out of you before, I’m a little wounded.” She joked, reaching out to take the puppy he had offered and cuddling the little thing close, scratching him behind the ears. “I never thought I’d see a literal puppy cuddling other puppies, but here we are.”
“You don’t always give me kisses when you see me.” He pointed out, fairly. He nuzzled the nose of the little thing rompin’ round in hi hand before he looked at her. “You come here more you can see it all the time, I half sleep in here sometimes when we have fresh pups. They need all the love in the world to keep a good nature and get a good home.” He added, looking over in the pen at all the others. “Whatcha been up to trouble? Raising hell? Behaving?”

Elijah had a two week gap in his memories. But from what he’d been hearing around Le Bordel he was very happy that no one seemed to recognize him and that he hadn’t gone back to school. He’d barely made it out of High School, his teachers had passed him since no one could imagine having to keep him around an extra year. He had been laying on one of the pool chairs at Le Bordel, enjoying the sun when an escort he kinda knew had sat down next to him and started talking about what had happened. He finally turned to the other escort and said, “Look, I don’t care about what co-ed adventures you got up to. Go get someone to rent you and talk to them. I’m not your therapist. I’m not getting paid to hear you talk.” The other escort got up and moved on leaving Eli finally alone on his pool chair and in a bit of quiet. He felt someone looking at him and he turned his head to look at the other person.
Logan had seen the whole interaction and had to laugh. The other wolf was sure full of piss and vinegar, contentious as all hell. Sitting down beside the other, he offered him a beer. “Ya know, Eli.... One of these days you’re gonna meet someone who can outmouth you.” He joked as he laid back. He never minded hanging out at Le Bordel. There was always good company to be had. “You ever think one day you’ll make a point to be... I don’t know... maybe nice.” The thought had Logan laughing before he could finish his sentence. “I retract that, but maybe even somethin’ along the lines of at least not terrifying to approach.”
It is no secret that Logan had nothing short of contempt for the man who gave him life. A stark contrast to the empathy he had for his mother whose life consisted of debutante balls, drinking, and spending at least one weekend a month in some asylum to even herself out from mixing medications and liquor far too often. But she loved her son, despite all of the calamity Logan was hellbent on causing his old man. After Logan was kicked out for being caught with another boy, his mother often wrote him and tried to get him to come home. He did, eventually, to stay by her side for her last days on this planet. And then proceeded to come home once more, much to his father’s horror as young as he ever was and to begrudgingly become the primary head of Prescott Industries, before spitting on his father’s grave. Knowing that Logan came from a life of balls, pearls, business, and suits, it’s a wonder the man lives his life in jean, unkempt and wild as can be.

Of course, before she could even consider visiting her progeny, the Clyde to her Bonnie, she needed to have all of her things moved to her new place which glittered with the array of clothing, shoes, and intimates. Everything had its place and Dominique made sure everything was perfect, a grande display of her nature. Was it pretentious? Hardly, her ambition knew no bounds, but arrogant and spoiled? Most definitely. The Vampiress certainly had a taste for the finer things in life. She’d kept her arrival rather quiet, though she figured once she’d branch out, her name would hardly be forgotten. If it had, it didn’t bother her. At least one could say she exuded confidence. When all was said and done, it had already been night and the city seemed to come more alive. She could practically hear it all in the distance. As someone passed her by, she would stop them, her hand brushing carefully at their shoulder though she was mindful not to get too handsy. Eyes would stare at them, then at seemingly nothing as she’d let senses take over, ears attuned to everything. “Tell me,” she’d start, her voice smooth. “How far is the VIP/Elite Nightclub from the Eastside? Walking distance, perhaps?” Not that she was worried about walking around at night alone, though she supposed if company came along, she might be entertained. “I’m Dominique. New to the city. I’m afraid I don’t have my bearings quite yet. Would you mind showing me the way?”
Logan was going through town looking for something to do. The dogs were taken care of, Tesla was relaxing at home... And that meant he could go hunt down a good time. He’d been on his way to stop at the local watering hole for a drink when a hand brushed him and caught his attention. Turning to give her a look, realizing she was a new face, he grinned. “Sure is. And I’d be amiss if I said that I couldn’t. My momma’d be cursing up a storm in her grave and trying to drag me down if I did, ma’am.” Offering the woman his arm, the easy smile spreading a little wider. “Logan Prescott. A pleasure, if there ever was one. May I?”
He had texted her the minute a new group of puppies came to his doorstep, swimming in tiny kisses and nuzzles and nips. Heaven to Logan. When the door opened and he had them all over his lap and two in his hands, he looked up at her. “I’ve never been more in love in my whole dang life.” He murmured with big eyes. He held out one hand to offer her a yipping pup as he cradled the other closer to his face. “How could anyone ever hate dogs?”

Bryce was one of those people who really liked watching the same thing over and over again. He blamed it on his childhood, having to entertain himself with the same VHS because his father refused to get him anything else. Thankfully nowadays it was easier to access all different types of media, but that never stopped him from watching the same things. It also helped that Logan didn’t seem to mind either.
“Whale milk?” He repeated slowly. Of all the things, whale milk wasn’t what Bryce was expecting Logan to talk about. He blinked a few times before chuckling, “Uh huh, I mean…They probably just think you’re some stoner college student, and they aren’t really wrong about that”. He pulled out a bag of cookies, and Bryce made a happy noise, “Thanks by the way. Did you have a good first week of class?”
“Okay, yeah, I know it’s weird but hey. Better to be knowledgeable about a subject as a whole instead of just the bits everyone cares about!” He explained, defending his strange factoids. “OR another fun fact that I learned looking up new docs for us to watch. Did you know that some jellyfish light themselves up in a distress signal when they’re being attacked so that giant squid may come and save them?” Very pleased with all the information he obtained a few nights ago, he glanced over at Bryce.
“Now that’s just profiling. Is it the beard? The unruly hair?” Laughing, he pulled a cookie from Bryce’s bag. “Besides, I never like to think of myself as stoned, I like to think of myself as at ease with the world. I don’t think anyone would like me much stone cold sober.” As a matter of fact, he couldn’t remember the last time he had been totally sober. “It wasn’t bad. The Organic Chem professor pop quizzed everyone. Test wasn’t hard at all but everyone was pretty dang upset. They were really simple questions like “when does carbon appear in it’s purest form”. Could’ve been worse.” He leaned in to steal a kiss to the other’s cheek for simply asking something mundane. “And you? You survived it seems.”

Jolene sighed and crossed her arms, letting the other explain himself. She should just march him straight to the dean, but of course, she can’t exactly say she actually saw him doing anything, just overheard. And, even if he was high, he didn’t really look it. Anyone else could argue he just looked tired and ready for the weekend. “These aren’t the types of discussions for campus, Mr. Prescott.” She chastised. “Why don’t you focus more on the medicinal plant side of these things? At least those are more tolerated? And make the living space more lively.”
He feigned offense. “This is the only place to talk about discovering a drug that better serves our mental health, Professor!” He argued, in a playful tone with a goofy smile. “Come on, you know I’m here to better my feng shui. I finally learned what a duvet is here. My momma might die of shock if she ever finds out I’m taking this class. And I’ll have you know I have now decked my apartment out in complimenting earth tones thanks to you. But really, you’ve never done a drug? Taken a drink? We’re supposed to be able to be worldly adults here!”

Ana snorts. “Ecstasy already does that - mild depression the next morning, but nothing a large bowl of fruits won’t fix.” She points out, before she adds; “Alcohol is my poison of choice.” The forestry student laughs then. “The problem is that a drug that has no effect wouldn’t be popular no? Or imagine if everyone took a happy pill and forgot to do anything else――― the world would stop.” She’s getting a bit to philosophical, but it sounds like a valid point to her.
“Oh, woah woah... I’m talking bigger. Like no overdosing capabilities. You can overheat on E. And that’s no fun. Trust me, I about swam in the deans pool for about two hours once. I’m not saying all the time, but I’m saying a happy pill a day for an hour to just reset... like sunshine in a capsule with no side effects and a come down that’s nice and slow...” He made the chefs kiss motion. “Now that.... is a thing of beauty. Ya know?”
Logan didn’t try to be good at much of anything. If it came naturally, then he was happier for it. If it didn’t he could brush his hands of it. However, one thing he never predicted being good at was being someone’s boyfriend. Of course, laying there naked, draped over Bryce’s bed while surrounded by snacks and watching “Blue Planet” for the 100th time, Logan settled into being good at this easily.
“You know what I learned the other day? Whale milk is the same consistency as toothpaste. That’s thicker than any freaking shake on the planet, ya know? But they need it because the milk has all the fat to help with their temperature and their caloric intake.” He reached for the loop on his bag, digging in it and taking out his sour belts. “I got you a couple different things, too.” He added, handing the other his bag. “The guys at the bodega must think I’m hiding a gut under my hoodies.”

Logan wasn’t high persay. He was buzzed as was a usual part of his day. “Now, of course we can debate all day that drugs are bad but what if, and just follow me here on this one my friend, what if we could construct drugs that give both a positive, affirming experience with little to no side effect? I mean shit, we develop cures for almost everything now. You’re telling me we can’t make a happy pill?” That’s all Logan dabbled in, despite his notoriety on campus. It’s also why he didn’t live on campus. “We make insane strains of mary jane, wicked differentials in MDMA and we can’t make a pill that gives us utter satisfaction? Nay I say. I’ll be the guy to do it. You keep an eye out.”

Just having wrapped her last class of the week, by rule she took her time packing up, not everyone could make it to her office hours and she wanted to give students time to come to her with questionsor concerns—- that aside she wasn’t in any rush to get back to the Mainland. Perhaps she could find someone from the faculty to help her prolong her stay…

Logan was nothing if not absolutely trying to be a B student. But for some teachers, he could be prompted to work a little harder. He liked the political science class. He enjoyed a good debate like any southern raised boy could. Without the brandy and the clouds of smoke surrounding him. “Evenin’ professor. I thank you for your extension.” He greeted with an easy smile. “I, uh, wanted to make sure you read this over for the next debate session. I think it’s a good topic. ‘The elimination of student debt and the balance of who will benefit and who will lose. But that’s what my paper is about, too. You did say to find something we’re passionate about. This is my topic.”

Full Time Student - Chemistry Major - Drug Dealer
Logan Prescott is among the most loved and adored members of the student body. His teachers think he’s brilliant, his friends love his parties, and his boyfriend loves... well, him. There’s not a party on campus he’s not at, and there’s not a student body celebration he’s not part of. Logan is quite literally the life of the party on campus. Some wonder if he actually ever even utilizes his apartment on the mainland.
Logan’s popularity stems from a few things. His easy going nature, his ability to throw money around like it’s nothing, and of course, the drugs he sells. Chemistry has always been something Logan found an interest in, especially when he learned about the history of most hallucinogenics and how they were discovered in an effort to help people feel better. Who didn’t want to feel good?
Despite Logan’s happy go lucky nature, it doesn’t come without skeleton’s. Logan’s father is a member of the University board, and likes lording the fact that the only reason his son was even able to attend was because his father quite literally forced him in. It’s not often they speak, and every time they have since Logan turned 18 has been nothing short of an absolute brawl. And Bryce has never had the unfortunate chance of meeting him.
Logan does his best to work hard and is more often than not a B student. He also volunteers for almost every charitable cause, and spends his father’s money on things his father would deem a fleeting whim. But that’s just because Logan’s beliefs run along the lines of if the people he loves are happy, then that’s all he really needs. And maybe a degree so he can discover his own feel good drug and change millions of lives around the world.

“Am I? I haven’t noticed”, Bryce teased. He really liked hearing Logan say those words, even if they were in private, it still meant a lot. The pup was very impatient, but he still waited as Logan took off his jacket and shirt. It took a lot not to just jump Logan like he would have with other clients. Bryce really wanted to make this nice for the both of them, even if they were just in some bathroom at the venue. “Hmm, I think I said that my legs would look great draped over your shoulders, sir. Should we do that?” He gestured to his body next, “Wanna unwrap your present”.
“Liar, liar...” Logan murmured, following Bryce’s gesture with his eyes. Letting his hand dance up Bryce’s frame, Logan began to unbutton, untie, and all in all undo everything and anything that kept them from being in contact with one another. “I think we’ll get to that bit, eventually. This gala should go on for at least a few hours. We’ve got time to kill.” He murmured, moving clothing from the pup to the counter. Logan could spend hours worshipping the form before him but he relented for merely kissing, licking, biting an endless expanse of skin before he stood toe to toe with Bryce, pleased with himself. “I think you have a present to unwrap as well.”

But now I know where to point others should they be looking for one.” She laughs at the question and shakes her head. She had to give it to him, he was persistent, and her words certainly weren’t deterring him. “You’ve just met me and you already have me pegged as the strong and independent type, hm? Is that because I didn’t fall for your charm?” She challenges, raising an eyebrow. “And isn’t everyone a little bit of both? Lover…fighter, really just depends on the person and the situation. Don’t you think?”
“No, no. Not everyone is a lover and a fighter. Sure, if pushed, but naturally? No we all align to one or the other more frequently. And yes, I’m pegging you right as that.” Clicking his tongue, he shrugged and looked away. “You’re here alone, a damn shame if you ask me, looking like you stepped straight out of a royal bloodline looking like you own a fortune 500 company, how could anyone not peg you for just that. And if looks could kill, my dear, you’d be a serial killer. But don’t worry, when my charm fails, my persistence pays off. Eventually. More or less.”
